It's an impressive hotel with large, well-appointed, comfortable rooms.

The breakfast staff were attentive and efficient, but the reception staff were somewhat detached and unable to provide information. Attention to customers and the creation of a friendly atmosphere seemed to be low priorities.

enjoyed the whole experience of the hotel, found my time there very relaxing in a comfortable atmosphere.

in retrospect would have liked a room with a view! not the roofline, but did not let that affect my enjoyment.

We have visited Carden Park on 2 previous occasions and we felt that the standard of the hotel was of a better standard this visit. . . The staff were excellent, the room was perfect food good and facilities very relaxing!

Would like to see a bit more plain choice on the evening menu! The bar menu had delicious sandwiches but they weren't served after 5pm!

I have been going to Carden Park for some 7 years now. And it is just the place to kick back and relax. I only live 15 miles away, but its the atmosphere that does it for me. the last visit we were in room 233, such lovely views over the Garden.

I think it is a little on the pricey side now. Drinks are as ever over priced (every where)

we where put in the same room as our last visit out side at the back, it would have been nice to have A change, may be in the hotel its self.

A very nicely appointed hotel. Good restaurants and wonderful value for money.

Although our room was very pleasant, it was far too hot, and we could not adjust the radiators. ( room 415) Daily Telegraph ordered but failed to arrive. Why all those speed bumps on the drive?!!

my bed was very comfy the food was lovely and susan in the breakfast area was fantastic to me during my 3 night stay we had dbb and the staff were fantastic

getting to my hotel door and the key card not working so was a little bit annoyed to have to go back 3 times and i was on ground floor so was a hassle also to get decent hot water out of the shower it was on trickle

The staff were cheerfull and helpfull. The rooms were clean and well equipped.

There were too few freeview channels on the TV. The service in the restaurants was slow at times. The bar prices were a little off putting. The check out was slow if you had a bill to settle.

My only negative was rooms don't seem very well sound proofed but don't let this put you off what is a fantastic hotel.

Rooms were well equipped clean and very comfortable with huge beds. Dining was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and very helpful.

Reception staff outstanding - our third visit and it's consistently great.

Long check-out queues following a valentine special offer.Three receptionists in operation.Could it be increased when really busy ie 20+ waiting ?

The pool was freezing! I have two young children and thought it was too cold. The gate to the adventure playground was locked:(

Location was fantastic

Food was horrible at the main resturant We were clear that we cant have pork in our food but we had chorizio on the meal that we paid £200 for. Breakfast options were limited.

The room (courtyard suite) was large and the decor was bright and pleasant with the seating being comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and varied and importantly it was always fresh and hot.

Stayed 30.11.12/3.12.12 - On the Saturday we were the first evening diners into The Vines and ordered the then days special. I ordered chicken and this had to be returned due to it being undercooked. Whilst the service staff were extremely apologetic it is not really good enough and it wasn't even busy. We also ordered a hot stones treatment which after much discussion due to the unavailability of trained staff was booked for 10.00 am on the Sunday morning. At the allocated time we discovered that neither staff member was trained and the hot stone treatment had not been booked. As before the staff were extremely apologetic and helpful but I'm sorry not really good enough in my opinion.

Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Mix up with appointments at spa. Because of mix-up we were told we could have a gel manicure and pedicure without charge. However this was charged on final bill which we paid and werfe told that all managers were at a meeting but they would refund when they could. This still has not happened and we have not received the promised phone call.

The hotel is in a perfect location - near to Chester and North Wales and is a comfortable relaxing place to stay. Rooms are large, comfortable, provided with a fridge and television. The bar area and lounge, with 'open' fires are welcoming places to spend an evening. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The food in Vines is excellent. The pool is warm and the sauna perfect!

it was the best hotel ive ever been to in my life, staff treated us like royalty! rooms were lovely would go back over and over again!

We have stayed at Carden Park over the last few years we love it there i enjoy the Spa and treatments that are available, my youg children enjoy the pool and outdoor play area and also the mini golf.
