Everything at this hotel is great , the staff , location , food and comfort. I've stayed at this hotel once before and would happily recommend it to others and stay again myself.
Just returned from a lovely weekend at Cardiff Marriott! All the specific room requests were in place on check in and a real bonus was the room being available for occupation at 11.45 a.m.! Special mention needs to be made of all the reception staff - always pleasant and courteous. Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable!
Location so good for Motorpoint venue, literally on the doorstep. Check in very good and room good value for the money
We overlooked the bars and you could hear the music slightly!
Great welcome central location can't fault any aspect of our stay
Friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Great food. Couldn't ask for more.
Bar staff need make sure they don't run out of their promotional drink.
Proximity to station, shops and motorpoint arena. Lovely room, very clean, excellent breakfast.
Pillows, all air no substance, when you put your head on them they collapsed and the sides wrapped themselves around your face.
What is there to dislike
Nothing to dislike
Air condition not working sink blocked not mariott standards. Evening restaurant staff not very friendly
Breakfast were very good the room was ok
The extortionate parking of from Friday evening to Sunday lunch £30 paid in advance York Marriott was far superior cheaper and free parking bigger rooms as well
excellent location and good rooms
Pillows weren't great - too soft. I realise this is a personal choice, but even after requesting firmer pillows the replacement ones weren't great.
The location is great for shopping & nightlife and the bed is very comfortable
LOCATION VERY CLEAN HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFULL
GETTING TO THE PARKING (ROAD LAYOUT)
The rooms were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep
Didn't quite understand how the bar can serve Baileys & port in 25ml measures !!! We also booked 2 rooms out of our "7" booked as "executive" but got standard rooms - they said they were overbooked!! My MD wasn't very happy
Facilities Great location for all local attractions Staff friendly and exceptionally helpful Great breakfast Pool and gym were great
Additional carpark fee seemed steep Bed was sadly a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. Room was otherwise very well equipped and to a high standard
Easy walking distance from train station and so close to town centre.Staff really friendly and helpfull
Great for visiting the city. Car park was ideally located under the hotel. Lots of nice restaurant's open for breakfast outside of the hotel
Price for the breakfast is high. No shower body gel in the room, staff think you can shower with shampoo.
Perfect location by Cardiff station and city centre. Staff were fantastic and on finding out it was my partners birthday, sent up some cupcakes and birthday card. We had the executive suite and so had access to the executive lounge, which offered canapés in the evening and a wonderful breakfast. All in all, an expensive but fantastic value for money night away. We really enjoyed ourselves.
The price, but that was because I booked an executive room.
Room seems to be unclean and makes me quite annoyed. Some staff are impatient. Got noise until 4 a.m. Don't understand at all why this place is given such a high rating.
From the moment we arrived we were impressed wit the helpfulness of te staff. The room was roomy and comfortable. The restaurent was pleasantly laid out and te service was good.
Being charged for parking and being given the explanation that they do it because other hotels do. Being charged for wifi!? Archaeic and tight. Nothing special about the hotel, havestayed In far nicer hotels for less Staff didn't ask how our stay was
As usual, regardless of the number of stars a hotel has, the room lighting was poor. This is endemic in all large hotel chains regardless of country
Rooms are not 4 star, no mini bar, small windows therefore dark room, the whole building needs serious renovation
