Pænt lille London-hotel, godt beliggende ved Paddington station. Værelserne er små, og der er ikke elevator, men rengøringen var ok og personalet venligt. Morgenmaden var ægte engelsk morgenmad og serveres mellem 7 og 9, så man kommer tidligt ud I byen. |

Vi blev anvist et lille kælderværelse med et lille badeværelse med ekstrem dårlig udluftning. Værelset kostede 102 £ med morgenmad. Den halve pris ville være value for money; jeg ville hellere have betalt 30 £ mere og brugt f.eks. Quality Crown Hotel Paddington. - det kaldes renovering!!!!! |

Super beliggenhed med nem adgang til 2 undergrunds stationer, samt Big Bus lige udenfor døren, endvidere lille døgn shop på den anden side af gaden. Fint rummeligt værelse efter London'sk forhold.Rigtig gode senge. Ok morgenmad. At man kan vælge at få røræg i stedet for spejlæg til morgenmaden. En mindre håndvask på badeværelset, vil give en bedre pladsudnyttelse. |

The Cardiff Hotel has a great location near Paddington Station, where the Heathrow Express service runs to Heathrow Airport every 15 minutes. It is close to Hyde Park, Edgware Road (famous for excellent Arabic restaurants) and easy to get to Oxford Street and Notting Hill. It is in a quiet square of nice buildings. Plus the inclusive full English breakfast is a bonus. The rooms are small and there is no elevator so you may have to carry your bags up the stairs (no fun if you are on the third or fourth floor!). I was there in the summer and there is no air conditioning so my room got quite hot (but I imagine this is only relevant for the middle of summer). |

Good, consistent english breakfast; clean, quiet and very good position for those who want to visit London. It is very close to Paddington underground and train station. There are affordable shops and restaurants in the area. The spaciousness: very small room, it is not enough space to place a closet and in the bathroom you have the sensation that you are on the submarine or in the plane. When you take a shower you need to go out the bathroom to wipe your body. There is no refrigerator and no air conditioned in the room. |

The room was not clean and the bathroom smelled of urine. The sheets and coverlet smelled musty. There was no a/c and the window would not stay open. Also the steps are steep and narrow; it was difficult for someone like myself (I have bad asthma) to carry a suitcase up five flights of stairs with no assistance. |

It was convenient to the tube and train. The square in front gave it a friendly feeling; less traffic. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The food was good--and plenty of it. The bathroom was clean. I liked the convenience of the extra toilet in the hall. Even though we checked out at 10:30 a.m. we were able to leave our luggage until later. The bed was very uncomfortable--sagged in the middle. The carpet needed a power vacuuming. |

Great location, less than 5 mins from Paddington Tube station, quiet enough area. Helpful staff. Single rooms are on the 4th floor and there is no lift. Room got very very hot (there was a fan but it was not working - they might have changed it if I had asked). Very small bathroom, shower was powerful but the water didn't go down well. |

The staff were helpful and very friendly, hotel clean and location fantastic for a short trip to london when time is scarce. We asked for a second key and despite a promise on the first day that we would get it within half hour, we didnt get it for 3 days! Our only room key wasvery difficult to use and kept getting stuck in the locks. |

The proximity to Paddington Station is brilliant & access to bus, train, Hyde Park is the best. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly & helpful. No Lift - miles of stairs with heavy bags or at the end of a busy day is painful. Like all cheaper hotels in London, the rooms are microscopic & bathrooms even smaller. |
