A few minutes' walk from Paddington Station and near to Hyde Park and Madame Tussauds, this Victorian listed building is a small, family-run hotel offering bed and breakfast.
Score from 1117 reviews Good
Has most things needed in a box room including kettle and washing sink. Bedsheets are clean and pillow puffed enough. Easy access to all public transports and stores. For the price at such a convenient location there is not much to complain.
some small improvement can make a huge difference. there is no hooks for hanging coats and bags in such a surface limited room. a foldable chair would benefit a lot. No rack for toiletry in the shower room. Radiator is not on only electronic one available on request.
close to Paddington station.located in a quiet area. Good buffet choice for breakfast.
bathroom is very small.
Good location Nice staff Pretty big room for a single Great breakfast
My room was on the 4th floor. With narrow stairs and no elevator it was difficult to climb up and down with my luggage. I knew about it before booking so I'm not complaining, just warning.
very well located hotel, good breakfast, neat and clean rooms
Luggage room located very inconveniently at the bottom of a narrow flight of stairs. Getting to lobby with luggage is also a problem
Easy access to halal food
Small bathroom size
Narrow and small bed
Location was excellent. Nice breakfast and the room was very clean.
Smallest bathroom I have ever seen
Location wise it is excellent
Stairs to rooms are narrow and horrible to carry luggage..Single rooms too tight esp for person with 24 inch luggage..
The hotel is literally two blocks from Paddington station, which is extremely convenient. The bed was perfectly comfortable, and there was a fan in the room.
The solo rooms are on the top floor, so you have to walk up 4 floors of narrow winding stairs. The room was tiny, barely enough room to open my suitcase. The bathroom is also extremely tiny, and the shower head was broken. (It was already clearly broken when I got in, but then it literally fell off the wall in the middle of my shower.) Also, the Wi-Fi did not work well (I tried several times). I'm afraid I would not return.
Location, staff, room, breakfast. Nice atmosphere in general.
Very poor wi fi signal on top floor. No hot water in the shower at night. Could do with a bathmat- I had to use my towel.
Value for money is poor. No lift (escalator), really tough to carry your heavy luggage and bags to the top floor. Slow wifi on the top floor. VERY small room. VERY small bathroom.
Very handy location, good value for money, excellent breakfast and willing to cater to specific dietary requirements.
A good budget hotel ,handy to Paddington station and the Tube. Plenty of places to eat from including cafe's to fast food outlets and excellent Restaurants all located near the hotel. Very good breakfasts provided and clean facilities, good value for money
Small size of rooms and very small toilet/bathroom..No lift in the building.
Very good localisation, 2 mins walk from Paddington Stn., quite comfort bed, nice wooden floor, very good Wi-Fi connection, fine breakfast. Good to stay for couple of days. Nice international staff :)
Very, very small room and the smallest bathroom I have seen in my life :(; it was really hard to take a shower; not recomended for disabled or elder people - several rooms are on top floor
The breakfast was great! (We are also coming from Rome where there isn't any) but the staff down there is very hardworking and accommodating! The place is very cute and a great location if you can figure out your way through the tubes.
As a young, budgeting travelor I splurged on this place because of a reccendation. I have primarily been staying in hostels and I have to say I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There were several hairs on the bed and the shower appeared to have not been cleaned which was disappointing.
Location near to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express. Having breakfast.
There is no lift. The side light didn't work.
location is excellent. breakfast variety was excellent. reception were friendly and helpful.
being on the 4th floor with no lift is a real hike. breakfast staff do not greet you or smile.
Room is clean, style is tidy and with wooden floor.
Great value, clean and modern room with bathroom
The fact they called me to tell me they were going to charge me £5 for nt returning the plastic key card. even after I explained there was no one on reception when I left and that they really cannot cost that much! do they really think it's worth losing a customer over? and getting a poor review?.... it seems so.
Room very small on 4th floor. Bathroom like closeth. The bed was small and old. No air conditoning and room facing street. Necessary to have window open
Close to rail station and easily to buy food.
The hotel has not provided the ff items: Small towel, floor towel, no assistant to carry the luggage, no daily clean up the room
As good as I could find for less than $400 per night
The lobby was dirty; rooms had no soul
-location -breakfast (although serving some wholemeal cereal would make a difference)
-No liquid soap in the shower, just a very small bar of soap totally inappropriate for showering -No hand towel in the room just a bath towel
