Cardiff Hotel

Hoi,Ik heb drie nachten in de Cardiff Hotel doorgebracht,een persoons kamer,was helemaal in de top,sinds ik heartrithm stoornissen heb en het 32 graden was buiten,voor mij niet te doen,maar na vragen had ik al gauw een kamer op de eerste verdieping,dat vond ik dus goede service!!

Ontbijt, 1) Engels ontbijt + geroosterd brood met jam. Voor de jampotten geen aparte lepels.2) smalle trappen en losziitend tapijt, gevaarlijk! 3) Slechte luchtverversing. Onze slaapkamer lag op 3e verdieping. Ondanks dat 's-morgensvroeg reuk van de keuken in de slaapkamer en in de badkamer de sigarretenrook van andere gasten die 'illegaal' in de badkamer roken omdat het hele hotel rookvrij...

koffers konden op dag van vertrek niet opgeslagen worden

Good, consistent english breakfast; clean, quiet and very good position for those who want to visit London. It is very close to Paddington underground and train station. There are affordable shops and restaurants in the area.

The spaciousness: very small room, it is not enough space to place a closet and in the bathroom you have the sensation that you are on the submarine or in the plane. When you take a shower you need to go out the bathroom to wipe your body. There is no refrigerator and no air conditioned in the room.

The location is awesome

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room (a single) was small but sufficient for my needs.

It was convenient to the tube and train. The square in front gave it a friendly feeling; less traffic. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The food was good--and plenty of it. The bathroom was clean. I liked the convenience of the extra toilet in the hall. Even though we checked out at 10:30 a.m. we were able to leave our luggage until later.

The bed was very uncomfortable--sagged in the middle. The carpet needed a power vacuuming.

How easy it is to get ot the hotel from Paddington/Airport transfer trains How close it is to shopping and parks etc

The staff were helpful and very friendly, hotel clean and location fantastic for a short trip to london when time is scarce.

We asked for a second key and despite a promise on the first day that we would get it within half hour, we didnt get it for 3 days! Our only room key wasvery difficult to use and kept getting stuck in the locks.

Very Central to everything, come and go with ease, good breakfast service

toliet was too small

The proximity to Paddington Station is brilliant & access to bus, train, Hyde Park is the best. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly & helpful.

No Lift - miles of stairs with heavy bags or at the end of a busy day is painful. Like all cheaper hotels in London, the rooms are microscopic & bathrooms even smaller.

Hotel location is very good. Near metro station and buses.

Room is clean but bedclothes are not clean.

Mini Fridge

The air outlets/inlets above the bed headboards in the room were rather clogged up with winter debris.
