Park Plaza Cardiff    

There is no automatic door for people with strollers. The phone is blocked and one cannot use a calling card from the room. The rates for calls to the US are INSANE!

Very friendly staff, nice decour, lovely food. The spa and gym facilities were excellent.

There were a couple of stains on the carpet in our room, however, this is the only minor criticim I have. My girlfriend both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was excellent - from the friendly staff at check-in to the staff at breakfast who brought us extra coffee without even being asked! Lovely rooms and leisure facilities.

Rooms at the front can be noisy on a Saturday night but would definitely stay there again.

Excellent rooms and top class service in that we left an envelope in the room that was found and posted back to us very swiftly - top class

Upon arrival (15.00) the corridors were strewn with dirtu linen, empty bottles and uncollected food trays - not at all what we would expect of this class of hotel

Impressed with helpful Staff and really enjoyed the first class Spa facilities. The Hotel has perfect location for a city visit being close to theatre, shops and castle

Little space to unload and load the car in front of the hotel (on double yellow lines) and then having to park in the NCP car park opposite (currently £18 / day less 20% discount for hotel guests)

Rooms good size and comfortable beds. Interesting lobby with comfortable chairs in front of the fires - which were very welcome the day we were there!!

Rooms were comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel bar is a popular and trendy Cardiff hangout and the restaurant has won several awards.

Location is rather noisy being opposite several bars and clubs. Some noise from hotel residents returning late after a night out.

The staff and facilities were well presented in a relaxed atmosphere where you were left alone to do as you please.

The huge comfortable bed. The polite and helpful staff in the dining room. The food was excellent. Good leisure facilities, unfortunately we only had time for the pool area. Location was good for our purposes.

I return to this hotel on a regular basis,that says it all , the welcome is always first class

Bar smelled of cigarettes was too noisy and gloomy. Bedroom lighting too gloomy. TV controller random.

I liked the facilities in your room. You had your own mini bar and room service so you were always at ease and was not to panic.

I didn't like that there was not much variety of dishes on the menu. Try and make it more kid-friendly.
