Score from 370 reviews Good
Wi-if slow Didnot have breakfast as thought it was over priced.
Friendly staff with good pool & spa facilities. Centrally located in Brockenhurst and New Forest.
The hotel and restaurants were good. Room very spacious. Spa was excellent.
Room was far too hot at night and air conditioning non existent. We had to have Windows open even tho it was middle of winter. Also breakfast very poor. Not cheap and not even freshly cooked. We went to nearby cafe for 2 mornings and had freshly cooked breakfast for a third of hotel price.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere in Le Blaireau Bistro & Bar. Staff really helped to make our break!
Not over impressed with the layout or hospitality in the main bar.
Friendly staff, greeted at the entrance and a porter moved the car to the car park. Lovely touch. Great location for walks. Lovely brunch. Valentine's rose plant in the room. Lovely touch.
We felt like guinea pigs for the new restaurants and menus. The evening meal, which turned out to be afternoon tea, was not the romantic meal we had hoped for. Breakfast wasn't available, but brunch was. It was the first time it was in the bistro so ended up being sent to a number of places before we got there.
Restaurants, bar area, excellent service
The shower / bathroom facilities, small TV in bedroom and its position.
I didn't use the spa as I had my 5 year old son with me so I can't particularly comment.
The hotel itself is okay yet generally tired throughout. I'd say that the food was certainly overpriced for the quality. It's a poor 4 star in my opinion, and I stay in at least 4 a month.
Everything, having walked out of a nearby hotel and booked here ten minutes later, the receptionist was extremely helpful. Lovely dinner in the evening. The hotel had some renovation in process, but you would not have known it. Quiet hotel.
Large comfortable bed Pool and jacuzzi Restaurants
Cobwebs in light fittings Dirty sink plug Check in and out times Not all facilities were working.
Spa and Thai restaurant
Location and poor internet
The hydro spa was great with very reasonable upgrade prices. The staff were friendly and helpful - it was nice to be specifically told it is ok to wander the halls in a dressing gown to get to the spa, as normally I get embarrassed doing that.
We had an autumn weekend break here. The weather was awful but the Manor's friendliness and comfort more than made up for it. Will definitely come again.
The newer part of the hotel was a let down in the bedroom department, especially for the price per room.
The Location was lovely set in the New Forest,The staff were very accommodating .
There were price diferencies from booking to when at the Hotel. The Management were very unhelpful not at all accommodating .The Breakfast was very disappointing. The French Resturant was lovely but the Thai the food was just warm.
Spa is amazing- utter bliss, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are lovely
Ask for a king sized bed or you will end up with two twins pushed together, a massive dip in the middle and a terrible nights sleep The curtains in our room were dirty and one of the bathroom lights did not work, very disappointed
The whole experience was great
MUSAC why do I have to listen to music when eating. Please get rid of it unless it is live, but at breakfast, please
Extremely helpful staff, easy booking in,room was exceptionally clean and spacious,we had the best nights sleep in our comfy four poster bed,we had dinner in the Zen garden and could not fault the food or service, breakfast was great, such a large choice ,we will be definitely be booking to come again
Location very close to village and pubs. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly
Hallways bit tired.
The staff were extremely polite and friendly, whilst the hotel is on a main through road we did experience any traffic noise. The spa was fantastic, there was never more than 5 people in the pool at one time, the loungers make it an ideal place to relax. a very enjoyable experience in the heart of the New Forest, surrounded by beautiful horses... Be very careful driving at night they appear from nowhere onto the roads.
The only downside was the price of the breakfast, far to costly for me as well as the evening meals, but there are lovely country cafes a mile away for breakfast.
Good spa facilities
Too expensive Treatments were way too expensive and not that great
Almost everything - the spa facilities are top class.
The wifi in my room were too weak to connect but perhaps the room was out of range. Not that important.
Typically english hotel in typical England only welcomed by eastern europeans (who were lovely) but took the edge off being in a lovely English hotel! Therefore we wouldn't go back again
Everything, staff were brilliant and the best bed ever
The room (17) did not meet expectations it was not representative of web photos. The dining room ambience non existent. Problem with food although management compensated. Spoilt our anniversary celebration.
Friendly staff who were very helpful. Good location, although roads got very busy so slow getting in and out. Nice restaurants, especially good breakfast.
Wifi was very weak in rooms - dropping out a lot. Cleaning was inadequate - empty drink bottle left in bathroom, found hair slides on floor.
