Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location. The room we had had a lovely patio onto the garden which was perfect for the sunny days.

We enjoyed out stay at Careys Manor where we were guests at a wedding. It was a beautiful day and we were able to congregate outside on the lawn which was lovely. The wedding was beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for everyone. My partner and I had a nice big, sunny room overlooking the front of the hotel. There was plenty of parking and lots of walks nearby. A very good base for walking or cycling around the New Forest.

We did feel that £208 for B&B was a little over the top for this hotel. You would expect to pay that at a top class hotel in central London. The food was very good but not amazing, as you might expect, and the bar drinks were very expensive.

Great location right in the center of the New Forest. All the staff were really helpful. Spa facilities very relaxing.

The elegance of the hotel was somewhat undone with a buffet at breakfast - a minor issue from a very relaxing weekend

Paying £258.00 with no breakfast with book.com Then a further £33.00 for breakfast I fully understand you are a business like myself .but that is a high percentage for us to pay . I will not be booking though you again

The Staff were very friendly and very helpful on reception, inthe restaurant and with the spa. Food was amazing especially dinner. The waiters in the restaurant were amazing friendly and so helpful when it came to the choices on the menu.

The room was very basic for the amount we paid. When the conseirge assisted us to the room with our bags he put his hand out looking for a tip which we thought was quiet inappropriate.

We like the rooms and the hotel generally including the setting. The gym is comprehensive, if a little dated. The pool and spa facilities are very pleasant and the Manor restaurant is first class.

Very disappointed venison not available at dinner as it's our favourite at Careys. More local produce on menu please. Cost of staying expensive and never see more favourable rates. The gym is ok but hasn’t been upgraded in a long while and the sauna a little cramped..

We especially thought the staff were helpful and friendly.

My husband and I came to careys manor to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. It was also the 1st time we'd left our 4month old baby over night so we wanted to relax and completely unwind. We absolutely came to the right place and were delighted with the service and facilities. We returned home feeling like brand new mummy's and daddy's! Will definitely be returning for another child free retreat!

room was good size, but corridoors very long - a bit like a rabbit warren - hard to find. Lounge comfortable.

spa over rated, pool small, changing rooms basic (no tissues or bags to put wet costume in). Dinner in Manor Rest - good service but food average (rib eye steak tough)

Location Beautiful hotel

Being asked to pay an extra £370 for New Year's Eve banquet which we didn't have or book. It was implied to us that we had booked it but not turned up. I only booked online for 2 nights with breakfast. I never asked for New Year's Eve dinner. It left a sour taste in the mouth as we left. It implied we had done something wrong.

Room are very average. Not what one Woukd expect for over £ 200 per room

I really enjoyed the fire place each evening in the main lobby and settting area by the bar. The Spa (work out area) really helped relief the stress for all day business meetings and staff was very pleasent and helpful all the time.

Everything! This our second recent stay at Careys Manor and it definitely won't be our last. The staffing team are amazing, from reception to Spa to dining to cleaning - they can't do enough to help and are friendly without being over familiar. The rooms are clean and very comfortable whether in the Manor itself or the newer extension - we've stayed in both. The lounge area in particular we enjoyed as a place to relax in front of a lovely warm log fire with our family. Food first class and the SenSpa is wonderful - attractive, nice pool and facilities. The Hotel overall has a very pleasant and relaxed atomosphere - from reading this you will gather that we absolutely loved our stay at Careys Manor and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Nothing - we would have been hard pushed to find anything negative about the Hotel, Spa or staff.

I've stayed many times, and thing about the hotel is that all staff from cleaners to management, are always so helpful, friendly and happy.

Clean well appointed rooms. Staff friendly, good location.

Couldn't offer a twin room for my teenage kids so had to have two doubles. No prices on the menu in the Manor restaurant.

Our room was on the second floor and there were a lot of stairs involved, which we didn't realise on booking. As the hotel was full we didn't ask for a change of room.

Ideal for the New Forest, very central. Our room was very comforable and clean. I liked the idea of fresh bottled water every day - no charge.The food was excellent but very expensive, we could only afford one night to eat in the hotel. We found a friendly pub close by. The spa was excellent. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Style , luxury and attention to detail - the best hotel we have ever stayed in ....professional yet friendly staff
