Everything, really. Nice room, great staff, amazing breakfast, great bed, nice decor, outstanding bathroom. Loved the selection of drinks in the room.
It was very hot - there was a fan in the room so I guess they're aware of that. Broken night's sleep due to noisy neighbours but not the hotel's fault, although had to keep window open due to it being so hot. Also could have done with a clothes hanger or two, but minor niggles in the grand scheme of things!
Room was great as was the location and staff
The shower was awful it just about had water coming out, unfortunately it was going in all directions other than where it was so pose to go (down) it also flooded the bathroom due to the plug hole being blocked and seals around the shower needing replacements!
nice pub very good breakfast Area outside the main centre but with good bars restaurants in the street.
not much really
Staff were extremely helpful and polite.
I rated wifi low as couldn't get on, but had only limited time so wasn't really major concern.
The location of the hotel is very good, with shopping, ferries and station easily reachable. The rooms were nice and comfortable and designed with obvious effort. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.
Liked the loft room.good food ,pleasant helpful staff.
The twin room we stayed.in Mon to Wed,wasn't very nice. A dark room because you cannot see out of the window?. This is because of the kitchen vents outside which was noisy. The room was shabby, with oppressive dark furniture. And it could do with a good clean. The property is going to be refurbished I was told.
staff, great shower, breakfast, location and ambience
room was hot but fan was provided, should have left the window open prior to my arrival
Good location for cafe, bars etc
Very hot in room, but it's an old building so didn't expect air con
Great location above a vibrant small restaurant/ bar establishment. Good modern well functioning bathroom. Clean and comfy.
Very small bedroom with limited space for luggage.
Handy central location
No aircon - had to prop the window open with the bin to get some air. Shower scalding hot and couldn't be adjusted. Shower room needs a deep clean. Ran out of toilet paper and no spare. Front of house staff with rings in nose and lips!!! Bar doubles as reception and breakfast service. No fruit! In a word - it's a dump!
Decent location, good rooms and food. Recommended
Bedside lamp for only one bed
Liked the meals very much. Found staff very friendly.
Good choice! Shower pressure 9/10 Breakfast 9/10 Bed 8/10 Wifi 10/10
The location was great and cute rooms.
A few issues with the staff and I had problems with my shower and had to shower in another room. And tge room wasn't very clean.
The staff!!! They were excellent and some of the most friendly and helpful people ever!!!
The top floor room we were assigned was dreadful. It was like being in a sauna from the rising heat, and adding to the experience was the effect of the day long sun baked roof (which the top floor rooms are in touching distance of). It was like being in an oven. There seemed to be a 20 degree descending difference in temperature, just one floor down. Our visit was in June 2014, so in the freezing winter the warmth might be appreciated. To the Cargo's credit, only the very top floor suffered from this mishap, so be sure to request a room no higher than the 3rd level (specifically not the top level, during the warmer times of the year), or beware. Cannot say enough about the pleasant staff though!
Centrally located near the port. Staff were friendly and helpful. Choice of breakfast was very good.
Though the bed sheets were clean the shower was rusty and questionable as was the rest of the shower cubicle. The room was very hot though an electric fan was provided. The doors were black with finger marks. Tables in the bar were sticky and the wine, specifically the Merlot was of extremely poor quality however they did open another bottle, equally as bad and I had to take an alternative drink. The photographs on the website are misleading.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you needed something they would see to your needs promptly. The food was excellent especially their full breakfast and the fish and chips were among the best we had while in England. The hotel location is very convenient to the National Express bus station and also the ship docks that we sailed on our cruise. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Really didn't have any dislikes.
The location was great! The pub downstairs served tasty meals (we had bothdinner andbreakfast). Close proximity to other eateries and pubs, some Titanic displays & the cruise ship terminal. The staff was fabulous; very attentive &helpful.
There is no air conditioning or elevator. The stairs are difficult, especially with lots of luggage( the staff insisted on handling our luggage).:0)
Fantastic location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great food too.
On the hottest day of the year so far, it would have been nice to have been able to have the window open (kept closing).
Its location.Very near a trendy restaurant street.
Found the hotel somewhat higgledy,piggledy.
Location in street full of restaurants and pubs away from centre Very convenient for cruise terminal, walking distance Breakfast Quirky
No lift, problem if you have big bags, or are aged or are on the top floor, reached by a narrow staircase Top floor attic very warm and no air conditioning
Staff were amazing. Good atmosphere
Window wouldn't stay open, was just too hot
Loft room was nice and comfortable, with a nice sky view through the sky lights. Hotel was in an excellent location with many bars and resturants on the street, hotel bar/resturant was quirky. Only a 10minute walk to the town centre and west quay shopping centre.
The room was nice but tired needs abit of a refresh. Evening barman was un-engaging when serving.
Staff, location, breakfast
