Clean and comfortable and modern rooms - exceeded expectations. Very quite at night. Staff were friendly, helpful and respectful - went out of way to assist. Very handy location close to Paddington station for express trains to Heathrow. Breakfast could be improved upon - fresh fruit would help. Staff were very friendly and helpful. |

Excellent position for Kensington Gardens & Hyde Park. Close to Tube.Staff very pleasant. Single room (22) had two beds and fair sized bathroon across the hall. Excellent shower. Large double room (40) had 3 single beds but cramped en-suite bathroom. Shame, especially if three persons were using. Breakfast continental - good but not a great choice. Excellent value for price in centre London. No lift but stairs manageable even for myself who has some trouble with mobility. No handrail in the bath. which would be helpful for anyone. |

LCD TV with plenty of channels, Newly refurnished rooms, good location between Bayswater and lancaster gate tubes. Room had Shower/sink Very minor things; a) no lift - but no real problem b) WC is shared - that said its only shared with two/three rooms nearby and was very clean. |

Good access to public transport (QueensWay underground), Paddington station and coaches. Nearby parks, nice neighbourhood also free wireless Internet access if you are not on the third floor as reception will be poor. Minimal continental breakfast served, thus without ham/salami though with yoghurt. Also lack of scrambled eggs and bacon, which was rather disappointing. Quite noisy, you can clearly hear people walking on the stairs and hall as well noise can be heard from outdoors while windows are closed. |

Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel is being redecorated and becoming more attractive. Location within walking distance of Paddington and the Heathrow Connect was important to us. |

The hotel is under rebuilding of its rooms. The room we have seems to have been rebuild within the last year and everything worked OK and was nice compared to the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially in a situation, where we had got an old 5 £ note in return in a shop, and was refused to use it elsewhere. The porter exchanged it to a new note when we told the story. |

The room and the shared toilet was extremely clean, congratulations for the cleaning staff! Close to subway, very quiet area next to the magnificent hyde park... The breakfast was a bit scarce, just toast, juice, cereals..., don't expect luxuries... |

Room was quite large for London, had our own clean bathroom, huge bed. Only breakfast was bit poor, but we were warned about that. The staff was extremely friendly. Good value for money. |

Spacious room even had a bed for our 4 year old. Lovely bathroom which always had hot water and shower worked perfectly. Exceptionally clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really good value for money. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Due to renovation only continental breakfast when full english was advertised. As room was so nice this didn't bother us much. |

Thin walls, sometimes it can be noisy because of neighbours or clapping doors. Rooms are very tiny and there's no bathroom in the room. No refrigerator. |

Breakfast was ok, clean quiet room. Good location (calm street, close to subway station, close to the park). Very small beds, but ok for a couple of nights. |

The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful: a major asset. The hotel was clean and the bathroom facilities good. Breakfasts fresh and well cooked, served pleasantly. A good value hotel for the price. Some furniture old and needs replacing, but clean and in working order. Not a big issue. |

location near Hyde Park Sold as giving a full English breakfast. The first morning there was only bacon and eggs left, not even ketchup, the next morning breakfast included a sausage (no beans, mushrooms tomatoes etc) locally a proper English Breakfast available very cheap. No lift, no toiletries so take your own. |

Location was great as only 5 mins walk to Queensway and 7min walk to Bayswater stations, room was large enough for our 12 night stay, clean. Basic tea/coffee facility in room. Daily breakfast was good with a variety of breakfast cereals, canned fruit and eggs and bacon. The breakfast ladies were friendly and offered great service. The walls weren't sound proof. However the hotel was good value. The hot water in the bathroom was unreliable, it was either boiling hot or cold. The water temperature control on our shower didn't seem to work properly. The people at the reception desk had limited knowledge, however we relied on our lonely planet guide for information. |
