Score from 1395 reviews Very good
A group of 10 of us went for my 24th birthday. All of our room were very clean, and all had access to the free Wifi. Excellent location, a 5 minute walk down the hill to the bars and clubs. Would recommend for younger groups of people who may be going on a night out and looking for very reasonably priced rooms
Rooms fine,breakfast good,good location only 5 mins walk to beach,free parking,staff good.
Probably not hotels fault but people next Door were vert noisy hardly got any sleep we were in the Devon suite walls are very thin could hear everything also had music playing quite loud in the room next door.would I stay again not sure because of lack of sleep due to noisy neighbours.
First time staying in Bournemouth, hotel was o.k. Good breakfasts and very clean if a little dated.
Noisy contractors leaving early in the morning.
The room and hotel were very clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Bed comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked, quite generous & nicely presented. Very convenient for BIC and town centre.
A bit more heating in the room would have been nice as we found it a bit chilly (December). Sound proofing not so great, so recommend earplugs if it bothers you!
BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT GIVEN NO TIME TO FINISH MY CEREAL BEFORE MY COOKED BREAKFAST CAME OUT. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE.
NO HEATING IN ANY OF THE ROOMS.THE ROOMS WERE SO COLD IT TRIGGERED MY ANGINA. ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD AT ALL. i REPORTED IT AND WAS GIVE A TINY HEATER WHICH WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Location 5 min walk from BIC and own. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Room clean and comfortable for 1 night.
Went to have shower in morning and water cold. Informed staff to be told boiler was not working and was being fixed now.I appreciate things go wrong but it would have been good to have been informed or an apology given .
For the money, you really can't fault this place. Yes it's basic, but the staff are friendly and the location is excellent. The real bonus is the breakfast, which, when you consider that this is a low-cost hotel, was really much better than I would expect at this price point. The verdict: Yes, I would visit The Carisbrooke Hotel again.
Single room was very small, bed OK but not great.
Staff where very attentive, hotel nice and clean, and in an excellent location.
On the day we left we had no hot water for the shower and no heating, which we raised with staff, and told this was due to work carried out the previous day.
No hot water in the morning.
Very clean room Full English breakfast Friendly staff Right near the B.I.C
Hotel was close to the town and the sea front It was clean TV didnt work in the room we were allocated but they were able to move us
Breakfast was rushed cooked food arrived whilst still eating cereal Very noisy in the evening
Value. Location. Parking. Breakfast. Cleanliness. Staff and service.
Small en-suite. Quilt too narrow for a double made of 2 singles.
Location, staff, price!
Wifi signal poor as on top floor , rooms a bit tired, shower pressure wasn't great.
I have been here a couple of times now. The staff can't do enough for you
Excellent breakfast, Helpful and very friendly staff
Decor in room needs freshening
Basic but clean hotel and rooms. Lovely staff and a great fried breakfast .
Maddy reserved me the last parking space with a bollard and then got me a parking place the next day over the road. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The bathroom was newly renovated and good, the bedroom is tired and in need of this. No bedside lights.
The staff were good and friendly and helpful. Tried to ensure stag second night was quieter
Windows were faulty so we could no open and close them easily. We complained and they fixed one but could not use it, then we found the other did not open either. Look out for the Stag parties , they annoyed the guests staying under them. I would not have booked if I had known. Food was ok'ish
I was in room 14 which was fully equipped nice and clean including the bathroom. The room was also nice and warm and all female staff were nice and friendly.Never saw any male staff in the two nights i was there which does not mean there are none. Easy parking and access.
The bar never opened. You can hear people talking and moving around in other rooms. Wi-Fi not good on first floor.
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
the hotel was located close to the event we were atending
the room was very basic and not enough plug sockets. The window in our room was very hard to close so had to leave open so the room was very very cold. Only one pillow per bed and could find no more in the room
Location for the BIC was great. Bed was really comfortable, linen clean crisp and white. Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking outside. Nice breakfast.
UHT milk was horrible. Ensuite very small but OK for one night. Shower was only a dribble due to poor water pressure on top floor.
Covenience, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Room nice but a little small for four, lacked adequate storage for clothes, no drawers. Tea-making facilities in dark corner with no lights, and why do hotels put the TV up near the ceiling so it gives you neck-ache to watch it.
A friendly, well located, well priced hotel.
Breakfast is not available until 8.30am.
The room was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were excellent as were the breakfast facilities.
We were on the ground floor and experienced a lot of noise from the room above.
