Very helpful staff. Polite,friendly and consciousness. I thought they were great and would give some 5star establishments a lesson or two. I would definitely return again.

The rooms and beds are on the small side and the beds and facilities are showing their age.

Very warm welcome, help with baggage. Atmosphere of cleanliness and order. All linen and towels very fresh. Extremely comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful environment. Being upgraded without request to a larger room than originally booked. Excellent off road parking.

Shower not powerful enough, not easy to get in/out of. Noise of plates being cleared/cleaned in the dining room, behind a dividing wall.

The location, off the main street hustle and bustle, intimate looking boutique hotel recently refurbished. Price was competitive with larger hotels in the area. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Relaxation in the bar/lounge watching TV was nice; weather was poor that weekend. Our room was warm Decoration and furnishing were lovely and complimented its Victorian look.

Our bed was strange! Mattress seemed to slope away from the centre and I fell off the side of it one morning.

I loved the hospitality, the staff are so friendly and lovely. I also loved the bed....it was AMAZINGLY comfortable

I thought the young receptionist was a delight. Couldn't do enough for me. The bed was comfortable too and the room was clean.

I found it a little strange that my room had no hand soap. I've stayed in other B&Bs and they have all had hand soap in the bathroom.

Our room was lovely with nice soft furnishings and furniture. our breakfast was delicious and we were served quickly by pleasant staff. The hotel was very clean.

The shower was a teeny bit difficult to get in and out off.

We liked the warm friendly atmosphere, the rooms were stylish and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We will definitely stay again when next in Southport.
