Staff were friendly and helpful
No option to have soy milk
Loved the bar and coffee available till late. Helpful staff. Lovely room. Clean and excellent value.
Fantastic stay, we stayed in room 15 which had a fantastic view. Very pleased!
location; informality, friendlenes, parking' staff,
Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good great sea view
Kids in the room next door screaming and shouting at night, couldn't get to sleep. Room next to the lift which was noisy, towels had holes in them. The kettle was filthy in the room I had to clean it. The bedspread had stains on it. Little things but all together make alot! More attention to detail is needed
Was clean, staff friendly, good central location. Loved the breakfast stuffed croissants ......
Location and staff so friendly and helpful.
Windows when opened generated so much noise due to windy night made sleep difficult.
Room smelt of cigarettes even though it was a none smoking room. Couldn't get any hot water out of tap. Bar staff went off about 10pm the reason we booked was the hotel had a bar.
Location Clean and tidy Bankys coffee shop /bar excellent Had the cooked Breakfast ..it was fab Will book again :)
Every thing about staying here is good.
Great location, nice Accommodation. Only seen one staff member a lovely irish girl, very pleasant indeed. Room was ok for a night or two, but wouldn't book for much longer as was very basic. The newer part of the hotel, breakfast area was lovely & great views of the sea.
The room was abit dated but ok.
As the week went on breakfast did get better as the waitress made lovely cheese and tomatoe croissants which were delicious. Excellent see front position and we had a sea view.
Been to hotel before and we didn't realise it was not full English breakfast any more, unless you pay extra. It was a big disappointment especially for my husband. The first morning there was only cereal, toast and a bowl of over ripe fruit on offer, we later learnt that the staff were late arriving!
Fire smoke stop doors wedged open . No choice of full breakfast , no beans , black pudding which we don't eat , rest of full breakfast was ok . Not shown where to sit when entering dining room .
Position of hotel,staff,cleanliness,
Large spacious room with single and double beds. New fresh en suite bathroom which was spotless. Lovely cooked breakfast prepared fresh and piping hot.
Friendy staff very welcoming.
Would of liked a sea view next time maybe
Very welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Although the bedroom was not very big it was adequate for our overnight stay and was very clean. It was good value for money and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Very friendly staff. Good wine and comfortable outdoor seating. Breakfast was excellent.
Tall tables and chairs in general dining area. We had to eat breakfast at one and it was uncomfortable. Not the most comfortable beds and the room was small.
My mum (88) and I loved our stay. The staff in particular made it special and personal for us. Great room, ultra clean and nothing too much trouble for the staff. View perfect and lift very helpful as mum walks with a stick. We are recommending it already!
The only downside were the steps outside as mum found them difficult to get up or down.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating, great location and parking was very easy to find outside the hotel
proprietors own party loud music from 10 oclock till 1 oclock . kept awake . young girl on reception did tell use about the party, even told us we were invited if we wanted , as a sweetener never going again, no respect for guest who are paying for them to party. didn't even see owners to complain to them personally.
The decking area at the front was lovely,as was the conservatory where breakfast was served. Everywhere was clean, with the right refurbishing the hotel has good potential as the location is great.
Bedroom in need of modernisation.very dismal with no view other than the side of the building alongside of it.semi see through glass door into the shower room and toilet.on leaving hotel cigarette butts scattered on the floor in front of the decking and take away carton.and checkout too early especially for a Sunday morning.the residents lounge dismal not at all inviting.
staff freindly, really clean hotel ,lovely veiws ,
really not pleased with the breakfast was hoping for full english not toast and jam?? loads compining about this please put buffet breakfast on like every one eles does wont be back unless this is sorted
This is our third time at this hotel, which is in a fabulous location, clean and homely
Access to hotel at front steps would be difficult for people with walking difficulties
Great friendly staff
Breakfast wasn't as good as before.
