The staff was abit slow on breakfast but she seems very busy so can't really quote that breast fast was delious
that the hotel had 2 bars and we couldnt order a drink after 11 due to bars being closed also choice of breakfast was poor
Very nice hotel and the Spa facilities were excellent. The Spa staff were particular amazing. They were friendly, knowledgable and excellent therapists. In particular Nicola and Katie were fantastic at the treatments they gave. I would definitely return for the spa facilities and treatments. 5* service.
The room was large and very clean
The bed was lumpy I think a new mattrise would not go a miss
Access to pool and gym
Changing rooms stand of urine, the rooms are very old and tired, the bathrooms must have been fitted out in the late 80's.
The children loved having a bowling alley, arcade and swimming pool on site. The rooms were well kept and the Bistro cafe was very pleasant. The kitchen was ok & had the bare essentials.
As we hadn't pre booked the restaurant we found on the evenings we would have enjoyed staying in, they were either booked up or the dining room manager wasn't available to check if there were free tables. The 2nd childs bed was in the lounge which meant our evenings had to end early due to let them sleep & there wasn't a TV in the bedroom.
Great family apartments and as always lots to do. Considering it was half term I did find the entertainment limited either focused on young children or the older generation. Still a fun time had though.
Difficult to park as all hotels were so busy. Alberta bar should have offered more entertainment midweek as it was school holidays!
Facilities and staff
great place to spend a weekend wish it could of been longer would come again the breakfast was to die for and the staff were lovely
kept getting lost all the rooms look the same wish the lift was bigger
Staff were all friendly and happy to help.Food was very good .sea view was lovely.Beds comfortable.
Nothing very happy with stay.
Very friendly staff, excellent location for walking to the sea front
The indoor and outdoor pool areas were both very nice, although the outdoor pool was quite cold. The location was very good, 5 mins walk to seafront. Some staff were very helpful.
The plumbing of the building is quite old, so very noisey - could not flush the toilet without waking up whole apartment. The floors were also very creaky, to the point where it was impossible to sleep once people in the room above us got up, despite ear plugs. This was a real shame as we all ended up exhausted rather than refreshed by the end of our ling weekend. The very hard beds, and in particular very thin matress on the sofa bed also didn't help our sleep. When I complained, the staff member at reception was bordering on rude with 'well, what do you expect when you stay in an old building'.
We were surprised by the amount of space in the apartment, it was lovely and quiet. Although there were functions and large parties in the hotel it was very well organised. I would go back again with my family as lots to do in the hotel as well as down the road. The bus stop was right outside into the town centre.
Spa facilities. Staff were pleasant. Room comfortable but too hot.
Some cleanliness issues. Shower curtain stained in places. Chairs dusty around edges. Just the little extra bits that make a difference. Just needed a bit of updating in places.
The staff and the facilities were good
Good in the restaurant was terrible. The rooms were extremely hot even though it was not boiling outside and the window only opened slightly. With a young family it want ideal that our room was situated at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic and noise throughout the night.
the swimming pool and the bar
the double bed was to small
and a little further from the town center
Lovely outdoor pool and terrace Indoor pool and spa area - excellent Good eating facilities at pool bar Friendly and informative staff Parking available, albeit on one of the 4 linked hotels
Room small - others were very spacious Dinner restaurant menu not extensive Parking can be a little hard when busy
Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good all in all!
Location and on site facilities had a lovely stay and will come again I hope.
Rooms could be cleaner. Rubbish under bed and behind sofa bed
cleanliness of the Aztec Bistro wasn't great
Great location close to the beach & harbour. Swimming pool , games room enjoyed . Reception were really helpful and breakfast although not masses of choice was tasty and fresh.
Room v hot and it was only about 15c when we were there .
Liked the location, staff were very helpful.
Rooms were very dated and old fashioned and smelly .
Quite central to most things. Staff helpful and usually polite. Breakfast was delicious particularly the continental options.
Curtains and walls were dirty in room. Some staff could be rude. Couldn't use pool for swimming due to overcrowding. Beds were squeaky making it hard to sleep then deliveries outside all morning from 7am.
Swimming complex Food quality Location was brilliant
Entertainment poor and very little of it. Not enough to do for the children Cost of holiday was very expensive considering I could have gone to another well known place at minehead for the same amount of money
