bed felt damp and uncomfortable and no shower
near to our wedding venue
The bedroom was shabby and no lighting in the bathroom. Didn't reply to my email. Dining room was a mess and I felt sorry for the young lad having to deal with angry customers as he was on his own.
Location and view beautiful on a sunny day.
The room, the bed, the breakfast, bathroom was not that clean, the curtains did not fit, when you sat on the toilet you felt like you was going to full off, overall look of the hotel was not good on arrival.
The bar staff were friendly
Have used this hotel before and its great value, and handy for the tunnel or ferries. Great sea front location.
Lots of renovation going on and had to change the room on arrival due to damp given a refurbished room and it was better
free parking good location and very reasonable price for B&B
The Hotel was under renovation when we arrived unfortunately we where not informed the work was being carried when we booked, and facilities that where promised were not available, Like the bar, entertainment. The car park was made up of Brick Rubble very dangerous to cross with cases, The lift was the smallest lift I have ever come across you could only fit 1 person in with a suit case.
Rooms need a complete over haul especially sound proofing
Creaky floor boards, noisy plumbing, reception smelled a bit.
Really handy for the channel tunnel, cheap.
Hotel was under renovation, but even in the new rooms things didn't work properly. I rather pay more and have a relaxing stay.
Location on top of the cliffs, nice view!
A little noisy with people walking past from the clubs. There's always people hanging round in the doorways looking a bit dodgy, the price will attract a certain clientele and we were next door to an arguing couple who kept us awake for hours.
Location. Free breakfast, free parking.
stained mattresses, filthy room, broken shower,no facilities, had itchy legs in morning, possible beg bugs!,no choice of breakfast, get what your given. also heard staff at breakfast being rude about some of the guests and laughing in the kitchen. we only stayed one of the two nights booked, it was so bad! and the manager was absent in morning, so we couldnt complain. very disappointed and upsetting.
Were to start... 1 room the socket on wall was broken and unsafe. Rooms were meant to be refurbished but looked rushed and very low budget. Bathroom wasnt great. whole places needs a really good make over. Full english breakfast wasnt that nice, not much variety.
The location was great with lovely view of the sea.
Unfortunately it is being renovated and the rooms badly need it.
Location, staff, breakfast.
Room not very clean
The view from the bedroom and the breakfast
Pillows flat and no duvets.
View was stunning.
rooms were dirty tv didn't work
breakfast was ok
The room was very dirty and required significant repairs to the walls, floors, and bathroom area. Other than a semi-functioning TV there were no other amenities in the room.
The location is suitable as a base from which to conduct site seeing in the Kent region. Breakfast was good.
Car park was in poor condition but is due to be refurbished
Location was excellent Value for money Breakfast was lovely Staff were very helpful and the room was clean and spacious
Room needed a good clean but this may have been due to ongoing renovations.Given the low tariff picky criticisms cannot be justified
I paid just £23 for a single room that included an en suite, full English Breakfast and flat screen TV. Whilst I've stayed in plusher places the tariff has been 2/3/4 x higher. The exceptional value therefore stood out as the main quality.
My family and I stayed here before going over to Europe. The location is great, but the hotel is run down and the breakfast was very poor.
Absolutely nothing absolutely nothing
All of it
Very surprising low standard hotel, accommodation and facilities. In desperate need of a complete renovation.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice location right on the ocean front.
Have stayed here numerous occasions new ownership now and was told it was too late for breakfast when staff walked past me twice took no order from us food was really cold so did not eat it staff calling bosses and could hear conversation not professional
wf not working.toilet/shower smelly and mouldy.breakfast was a joke, sour milk,no juice ,left without eating.cheap so what should I have expected.luckily only one night stay
