Bed was clean and comfortable and staff very pleasant
Not clean carpet very old and dirty also bath room floor dirty and hot water very hot it was dangerous
this hotel was bad
building looked nice from the outside.
The attendant on reception was dressed in trainers, tracksuit bottoms and a tshirt, Not the best first impression besides the gang of boys drinking cans outside. The hotel in general was really shabby, then when we got to the room it was awfull. Sheets and walls full of stains had to strip the bed and sleep under the 1 sheet. Also partner woke up in the morning with 2 bites after her sleep.
Bed very comfortable Breakfast good
last min reduced price booking as an over night stay reception+breakfast staff friendly+helpful.this is an older/dated style b+b/hotel.room basic+clean.good choice of breakfast inc a cooked breakfast inc in the price.
rooms very old and tiered definatly needs a refurb and clean up , the lift is very small
Good full English breakfast Value for money Location was good, ideal for just a stop over
Bed and pillows were a bit too hard
.TV not working .Lack of soundproofing .Room was poorly lit .Bedding was filthy .Staff unhelpful .Toilet seat was broken .Room was untidy and filthy
all of it
The location Clean bed linen and towels
Rooms tired looking Musty smell Lumpy beds Bugs in the bed
Rather a seedy hotel with rotting window frames, dirty windows & paper thin walls.
The location and the shops around
The bed is like sleeping on a bare spring. A good wuilt could have cushion it but the quilt is as light as a cotton. The shower comes out like a trickle and it takes about 10 minutes for it to get hot. The wifi only works in the reception not in the rooms. They need a more powrrful modem. I have been staying for years but I have never come accross where tjey have to go and bring it and not you serving urself. All the cutleries and cup are dirty. No fanor airconditioner. U only have an exhaust fan dat can be used to bring air in. The TV is the tube one. Everything is just very bad
Staff on reception friendly and helpful. Breakfast good.restaurant busy. Could have done with more staff.
Hotel in need of refurbishment. Blankets very worn. Paintwork stained. Net curtains were very dirty. Overall appearance was shabby.
The place is rank and has not seen bleach for many years! Window didn't close and the room stank. Save your money and sleep in the car! Worst hotel ever
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Room room clean.
Decor a bit tired but signs of some roomqand outside being decorated. Car poo ark needs like levelling would not be usable in wet weather without wellies.
The waiter really was like basil faulty.
No doubleglazing drunken yobs outside shouting and screaming till 3 in the morning, rude foreign workers get picked up in the entrace of this hotel in the mornings they stand in your way smirking and snearing at you as you try to pass, 40 years ago I think the hotel might have been very nice, but today its outdated woodchip galour
Dusty rooms Need of revamp Muddy car park Need more staff at breakfast
Shower was not very good. Car park could do with surfacing
Beautiful location and it had parking.
Booked 2 nights but could only stay one! Showers, toilets, TV, wifi - none of these worked! Beds so hard that you could feel the springs.
inability of rooms to cancel noise
Prime position for our morning channel tunnel trip
The hotel is a bit dated and in need of moderisation
Ideally situated within walking distance of the town center with great views over the English Channel
Although the front facade of the building has been painted, the inside could do with a major facelift. The rooms, although spacious, are in need of a major refurbishment, the furniture/beds could be used for a period drama; the en suite are basic and who uses blankets for bedding nowadays! The cooked breakfast is something to be avoided at all costs.
Very nice service at the reception
Dirty, uncomfortabel, the bed is old and dirty, the shower didn't work, the door was broken, the wallpaper was dirty and old, it smells not good in the room, the window was very small, when I saw the room, my first intention was to sleep in the car, it was to expensive, everything was bad,
