Good price Overlooking sea Very close to high street Doors wouldn't lock properly Curtains had to be held together with safety pin Cold water in shower Restaurant advertised, but when we arrived we found that it was closed 'because the hotel was quiet' Choice of just one wine in bar - nasty sweet wine! Friend found pair of pants and and worse under her bed Everywhere very tired and not particularly clean

Very handy for Eurotunnel. Staff friendly and helpful as were other customers. Because we couldn't use restaurant, found a great pub - The True Briton which served wonderful fish. Breakfast (included in the price) very good. Very god value for money Couldn't eat in the restaurant - there was a large coach party, but see + side

low price reasonable comfortable bed Shabby rooms, very small twin bed. Old and not well maintained facilities cracked walls, dirty and worn out carpets and tiles. Very dirty remote controls for the TV set. Too small shower with dirty shower curtain sticking to your body while showering.

the bedlinen was very clean, comfortable bed, friendly manager the manager is in no way to blame for the dilapidation of this hotel no central heating, black mildew on window behind net curtain, cold, needs a total overhaul, decoration still in the eighties.TV in room didn't work the extension that we stayed in is coming away from the main building- floors & stairs sloping.Car park-just hardstanding at back of Hotel and no room.We parked in a car park along the road at the back, but were worried about security, as not a nice area.

For the cost of the room, it was fine. The owner/manager was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast nice, room clean. Location good, easy to walk into town and along the front. It is quite old-fashioned but doesn't bill itself as luxury. It's a cheap no-frills but perfectly fine option.

Staff were friendly, and hotel was east to find. They provided packed lunch in lieu of breakfast, owing to early start needed for ferry. Decor was very tired, TV needed coaxing into life, and there was no hot water, so no wash possible before early start for ferry!

Very accommodating staff to arrange continental breakfast at 3.30 am during our fist night's stay. Very accommodating to change us to ground floor room due to such an early check out. Very poor upkeeping of property. Room 306 very lumpy mattress and TV did not work. Both showers in both rooms stayed in did not get hot at all. Outside areas very unclean and in disrepair.

Pleasant staff, really helpful and went out of their way to help once before when I had to cancel a booking. Hot, freshly cooked breakfast served with a smile and clean sheets and easy parking overnight. Decor a bit tired but clean and suited me perfectly for the purpose of my visit
