Dirty rooms horrible smell bathroom was disgusting cutlery was dirty never never again
What a cheap stay, okay it a'int the ritz but its clean, the staff are friendly and breakfast nice, I would stop here again.
The breakfast was excellent and they even allowed us to have cereals and toast etc early when we had a ferry to catch. Towels changed and bed made for 2nd night of stay. The price
Room was a little damp/musty Tired decor Dirty windows
friendly clean sheets daily great choice of breakfast great value for money
Bathrooms needed upgrading needed more pillows on the beds
Helpful staff. Clean sheets, towels & bathroom. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Good position.
Attic room needs better servicing, taps didn't work properly, shower only gave cold water. Bedspread badly stained, bedside light didn't work, no lamp shade, loose light switch. Breakfast not freshly cooked bacon rubbery. No fruit or yoghurts. Very outdated.
there was a good supply of milk and coffee and coffee
the shower was totally useless, parking was appalling, there was rubbish under one of the beds, the walls so thin that the next room you could hear them snoring hence that we did not get any sleep. disappointing. the windows were filthy
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Room in need of a little tlc but clean and no worse than some I have stayed in which cost a great deal more.
The price was good and didn't expect it to be the Ritz as only booked for location to the leas cliff hall for one night
Room was dirty Previous guests belongings in drawers Shower head broken Tv didn't work Bed and pillows uncomfy
Rooms were clean with a beautiful sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was terrible. Decor needs updating and a few repairs are needed.
The location was great, right on sea front, short walk to town. Price was a bargain £25. Hotel itself is large but dated in decor & furnishings, including bathrooms. VERY BASIC all round. Mattress comfort was a BIG ISSUE!! Staff were friendly enough. This hotel could be so much better if some issues were worked on. Based on our expeirience I wouldn't want to stay here more than one night unless improvements were made. And certainly wouldn't pay more than £30 per night as it stands. Such a shame as it has so much potential
I am reluctant to leave a negative here as it is a 2* Hotel. THE MATTRESS... a good nights sleep would have made up for all the disappointments. Springs digging in. So take a blow up bed! Quite noisey at front of hotel so need earplugs. Breakfast staff let the hotel down, talking loudly out back not paying attention to guests coming in for breakfast, no clear tables, not re-layed for guests. Such a shame as it has so much potential
Great cooked breakfast served very quickly.
Room very basic, no lampshade on the central light.
Please Booking.com go to room 5 and see for yourself. It is not a full room but one cut in half.
Scrambled eggs at breakfast.
The bed was awful. The window paintwork was filthy. The TV remote was missing and took some hours to locate.
Staff friendly, Price excellent, Location is super.
The room and bedding did not appear clean and I would not want to stay in such a place again.
Location, friendliness, location to town
we got what we paid for. beds were clean, shower was clean. our breakfast was fair.
the 3 lads right next door to next door. but they did shut up when asked
slow water flow
If you want to be in a 5* location and have 2* prices this is the place to be. Great breakfast, andq the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful.
The power shower!!
the price, the location, able to park a vehicle close by or on the car park at the rear. TV/BAR the drinks were reasonably priced. Loads of sockets in the rooms. Would definetly stay here again, breakfast was good and service excellent, help yourself to as much tea/coffee and toast as you like. Staff were very polite and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for them..
Pleasant staff, good breakfast,Enough room for our needs, only an overnight stay, but would return.
The reason for having to stay there, but that was not their fault
The receptionist was rude & called me fat. Room was dirty. Wouldn't advise single females to stay there.
This time having a ground floor room still overlooking the car park, thus being quiet.
I was quite badly bitten by bed bugs. The local council needs to go and check this place out.
