Hotel was lovely, the room was exactly as it was on the internet. Tucked away in a quiet road but easy enough to walk to town and the sea front. The shower wasn't always running very hot water and wasn't very powerful, but the bath was fab. |

Very pleasant and hellpful owners and very nice breakfast The room I had originally booked had been given to another couple, which was disappointing as the main reason I picked the hotel was that it had a ground floor room. |

This hotel is excellent with very comfortable rooms, lots of hospitality and atmosphere, superb service,good value for money and I would certainly recommend it to anybody. Hope to come back again. |

I usually travel round the country on business and have stayed in places that have not lived up to their star billing but with Carlton Court I was pleasently surprised as it succeeds in making you feel you are home away from home. It could introduce fish onto its cooked breakfast menu but it is not alone in this omission. |

Both my room and the public area are nicely decorated and properly maintained. The room is of a good size. Both the shower and the toilet flush were not powerful enough. It was a 20 minutes walk to the city centre/waterfront with no convenient means of public transport. We paid £70 for the room. I'm not sure if the price of the hotels closer to the town centre would be more competitive. |

Quiet location, excellent customer service proprietors offered advice for eating out and other spots, provided a map to get around, good breakfast, cleanliness of room excellent with lots of nice touches like fresh milk for tea. |

The owners, Helen and Phillip, were the most attentive people i have ever come across at a hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and the room was so clean. We will definately be returning to stay again. Lovely hotel. |

very friendlyand very helpful staff the room was exceptional liked it very much. Breakfast was very nice and the presentation exceptional. will be going back there to stay very soon. The only comment I can make about the room that we stayed in was that the shower head is situated in the wrong place making it quite difficult to wash. |

I really enjoyed staying at this b&b. The staff were extremely nice, and the room that I had was fantastic. It was large and very comfortable. You received a hot breakfast every morning, that they cooked to order. I would definitely go back. Simply lovely. |

The rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. Hosts Helen and Phill were friendly and very helpfull. It is also an adults only hotel which made our break very relaxing |
