Excellent accommodation the room was extremely clean very spacious and a fantastic comfortable bed. Nice touch having a mini fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. The bathroom was also immaculate. Breakfast was brilliant with a wide choice. James and Beryl were fantastic always greeted you with a smiley face they also recommended some good restaurants and bars. We do hope to revisit in the near future.

We stayed for a couple of days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Carlton Court is only a 10 minute walk from the sea front and our room had everything that we could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble for James and Beryl, who were the perfect hosts. On the day of our wedding anniversary we received a card, which was a lovely personal touch. The breakfast was great - we had an excellent stay.

carlton court is beautifully presented and exceptionally clean, Beryl and James are wonderful hosts, and the food is gorgeous. a lovely lovely couple of days.

Wow, what a fabulous place. Our room ( room 4) was beautifully decorated and the whole place was spotless. Breakfast was a delight and James and Beryl could not be more friendly or helpful. Worth every one of their 5 stars.

We had a very warm welcome from James, he was very helpful throughout our short stay. Only met beryl briefly but she was also very friendly.

James & Beryl were absolutely lovely. Their hotel is very nice, in a great location and the service was spot on. We are hoping to stay there again this summer.

Very warm welcome and beautiful room. Little touches in the room design made it very homely. Beautiful breakfast room- delicious breakfast and extremely friendly owners. Definitely coming back and reccomending this place to friends!

James and Beryl were very welcoming and attentive during our stay, nothing was too much trouble, in fact James even drove us into town so it was possible that i could drink during our anniversary meal in the evening which was very kind. The room was luxurious, exceptionally clean and modern. The Breakfast was lovely, with generous portions and once again, james was on hand for all our needs.We will definately stay again when were in the area. I found nothing to dislike about our stay.

The hosts couldnt have done more for you and it was such a cold weekend the heating was on all the time , and liked the fact it was so quiet. We read that it was a "hotel" which it wasnt as they did not have a restaurant or bar , and, it was definately more than the 10mins walk n the web site , to the town .

Nice touches in the room including fesh milk for the tea making facilities. excellent breakfast.. Overall a small hotel of discreet luxury situated just a litle back from the centre but only 10 minutes walk from the seafront. Only stayed for one night but if I were staying longer I would have asked for different pilows as i found the ones in our room a little soft

James and Beryl were wonderful hosts, Their hospitality was over and above the 'norm. The little thoughtful additions in the room were great as was the breakfast. We wouldnt hesitate to stay there again sorry, cant think of anything
