Complimentary bar went down a treat as did the free drinks vouchers for Waxy's. Spacious room Light in wardrobe Staff were friendly and efficient. Cleanliness Comfy bed Better lighting at desk.

The complimentary minibar in the room was excellent and had a great variety of drinks available. Also the crisps and chocolates were a welcome surprise. The buffet breakfast had a tasty variety of food on offer and was of excellent quality. The executive lounge was very comforable and the complimentary bar was well stocked. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking George Street.

The facility of having a balcony room, drinks in the room and in the club lounge. Nothing, I enjoy this hotel even although it has no leisure facilities. If I want a spa or a gym or a pool I'll go elsewhere. When shopping, enjoying a drink and eating, the Carlton George is perfect

The service and resturant was excellent, it has a great location No lounge for casual sitting or when we had visitors, We are tea Jennys' so the alcohol being included in the price was not something we felt we would use.

The location is excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was very quiet at night. Shortage of hot water in the morning. Room furniture requires attention. Breakfast mediocre.

Everything! An excellent, central location. Handy for shops, trains and sightseeing. Room lovely and spacious. Spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom. FREE mini bar! Lovely top floor dining room. Staff very nice. Will definitely stay again. Nothing!

Staff friendliness and helpfulness and relaxed atmosphere. Great location. Lack of a corporate hotel feel - made me feel less as though I was simply another person to be processed through the hotel system (which it can feel like in other hotels) Iron was not very effective - a more powerful iron would have been appreciated to get those travel wrinkles out faster and more effectively (shirts still remained somewhat creased after a number of attempts at ironing them out) Hairdryer had only one setting which had to be held down whilst drying my hair

Friendly enviroment as soon as you walk in with the fireplace burning, sky sports in the rooms and the complimentary minibar was brilliant. Asked for extra vodka instead of gin and whisky and they had done it without charging extra. Bath was very big and bed was comfy. Room was a bit too warm and couldn't get cold water for the bath. 50Pound charge for using a debit card to pay for the booking and still waiting for it to go into my bank 3days after checking out after being told it would be in within 24 hours.

I could not fault this hotel in any way. From the effortless booking in, to the lovely rooms, very helpful staff and the fabulous breakfast, I could not find a fault with anything. PS. The Executive Lounge and the complimentary drinks were also a nice extra touch. There was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel.
