Loved everything, gorgeous hotel, right in the centre for shopping. Staff were lovely :)
location, staff, breakfast.
room decor requires updating.
Front desk staff were very pleasant. Great location. Complimentary drinks in room were a nice touch.
Room too small and too hot! Noisy from air conditioning units outside if we opened a window (room. 608). Breakfast poor. Had run out of everything when we got there and the chef on duty totally ignored us when we asked if fresh bacon was coming. Other breakfast staff were pleasant. Not good value for money.
Although I never partook in your generous offer of a free bar,I was delighted that the offer was pointed out to me when I first signed in, it's not very often you get something extra for free, I certainly will come back to stay at your hotel.
I never saw anything I didn't like, as this was my first visit to the Hotel I hadn't a lot of time to discover any dislikes.
minibar :) no charge for room service :) location:) friendly staff :)
no rose wine in mini bar:( water pressure very power in shower, verging on too powerful, temp of water was variable:(
Free Mini Bar
Room quite dark even with lights on
Location. Helpful staff. Spacious comfortable room.
Lack of facilities. Breakfast. Poor WiFi access in bedroom. Booked an Executive room with king bed and got a tiny room with small double. Staff were great and changed us to a larger room. This is not a boutique hotel! Small bathroom.
Location is very central to main shopping, pubs and restaurants so car is unnecessary. Staff were entertaining, and always helpful. Fantastic!!
Carpark is a long distance away from hotel
Executive lounge was very nice and relaxing well worth the extra we paid
Buffet breakfast one day the next day cooked to order in my opinion should be cooked to order every day
Roof top restaurant Residents lounge Central location
The location of the hotel is very good, about 2min walk to the queen's station and about 5min walk to the central station.
location excellent for Great Scottish Run start in George Square - and really appreciated late checkout, decent bath size, staff professional
lumpy mattress, window onto inner yard full of ventilation shafts (too noisy to open window), smallish room (for a 4 star), public areas (reception, corridors etc) very small. Paid £210 for this and it was really basic...
Central location. Very pleasant reception
Lack of access to vehicles on arrival and departure( Recognise out with your control) Aspects of breakfast quality. Room temp. very high ( lacking)control
Helpful staff.nice idea have a drink on the house in your room
Big fan units outside our roomwhich kept us awake most of the nite
Room was good, clean and up to date although very warm. The staff were always helpful.
Breakfast was very poor indeed. Food had been pre cooked for ages and was dry and tasteless. We were having breakfast for about an hour so for anyone arriving then their breakfast would have been kept warm (!) for 90 minutes. Really overpriced better value outside the hotel.
This hotel is right in the heart of Glasgow, close to transport and the main shopping area. The hotel is surprisingly quiet, given it's location, and it's easy to get to all main sights from there. Staff were efficient, room was very comfortable, free mini bar was a nice touch. Overall, a good mid range CBD hotel - very good, but not sensational.
Very close to Queen Street train station which was a real bonus. Nice , clean and fresh with pleasant and polite Staff. Complimentary drinks in room were a nice touch although we didn`t partake. The residents lounge area was also very nice , quiet and relaxed. Oh , and more complimentary drinks !
This was a total find for Glasgow. Can't believe I have not stayed here before. Truly excellent hotel right by Queens St station. Great in room menu.
No pay TV.
The location was good, the staff were friendly and informative, the room was very comfortable.
Excellent location right in the city centre.had a brilliant night sleep and the free mini bar was a bonus! Will definitely be back
Breakfast very poor Noise from outside air conditioning units
The hotel was excellent in all categories, I'd go as far to say exceptional.
Location excellent Staff very helpful
I have stayed several times over the years and on this occasion took my elderly parents, I felt it is losing its specialness, mini bar cut, no dressing gowns, breakfast not near as good, executive lounge - reduced hours and no longer service, every time we went in we had to phone reception as there would be no cups, or no glasses, or the coffee machine was empty. Still had a lovely time but doesn't stand out for me anymore.
the location comfort of bed food quality and quantity and price complimentary bar , mini bar overall price friendliness of staff
executive lounge was too quiet, may have been ideal for some but not all. Could have done with back ground music at least or was this considered so as you wouldn't stay too long.
