Das Hotel hat rundum einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Badezimmer top in Ordnung.

Von manchen Zimmern hat man den Blick direkt auf ein Dach voller Geräte wie Lüftungsanlagen mit entsprechenden Geräuschen. Wir konnten das Zimmer aber tauschen.

Perfekte Lage an North Bridge/Royal Mile, perfekte Busverbindung zum Flughafen (Airlink Bus an Bahnhof Weaverly Station 2 Minuten von Hotel entfernt) gute Ausstattung eines 4 Sterne Hauses angemessen, großes ruhiges Zimmer, Preis-Leistungs Verhältniss stimmt

Frühstück angesichts der Auswahl eindeutig überteuert, etwas schlampiger Zimmer Reinigungsservice (kein Toilettenpapier nachgelegt, Betten schlecht gemacht, Duschbad und Shampoo fehlte)

Die fantastisch günstige Lage zu den touristischen Attraktionen und das großzügige und gut eingerichtete Zimmer

Die Fenster waren nicht doppelt verglast, so daß die Lärmbelästigung durch umliegende Lokal schon recht gut zu hören war

Es liegt super zentral in einer Verbindung zwischen Royal Mile und Princess Street. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mischung aus modern und schottischem Flair.

Das Parkhaus liegt 3 Straßen entfernt und man muss mit den Koffern durch die Stadt bergauf laufen. Das war etwas mühsam.

City traffic can be noisy during the night especially on 2nd floor.

Yes the fact that there is no on site parking! Not told this at time of booking. Had to pay £15.00 for the privilage of going to park 1 mile away and then walk back through the streets in the rain with a baby and suitcases. Absolutely unbelievable. The spa is filthy!!! I did complain re both!

The location of the hotel was excellent as it was convenient for shopping and also convenient to the Royal Mile. Hotel was clean. We opted not to dine in the hotel on this occasion, but have done so on previous stays. Our daughter was with us on this weekend and our sons joined us from England for one night.The purpose of our visit on this occasion was to see Edinburgh V Ulster rugby match on the Saturday.

The location of the hotel was excellent as was the standard of the room. I was at the rear, therefore, there was no noise problem. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and while the pool area is dated it was perfectly adequate for my needs. I cannot comment on meals served at the hotel as I was staying on a room only basis.

The hot water actually ran out one night. According to the receptionist, it was due to everyone using it at the same time. This should not happen at such a large hotel.

Courteous, professional and helpful staff; quality bedroom and bathroom furnishings, comfortable and ideal location for sight-seeing and shopping.

Limited parking immediately outside the hotel

The fact that it was in the heart of Edinburgh, and was within easy reach of the main attractions and shops.

The location is very good, right on the Royal mile and only 5 min walk to Princes Street.

We did not manage to get much sleep due to the noise outside, drunks, tramps, cars etc... until 4am in the morning, the room did not keep the noise out which was really disappointing after a long day sight seeing we really wanted to sleep. Based on this we would not stay here again or recommend to anyone else.

Clean, well decorated, good room size with plenty of seating, reasonably quiet despite it's proximity to the main Waverley train station. Food good, breakfast very reasonably priced.

Bar understaffed for a Friday night (just one barman who had to clear tables, collect crockery from kitchen, etc., as well as serving customers at the bar).
