pre theatre dinner was slow to arrive, only had time for one course, and was charged the menu price not the pre theatre price as advertised.

Clean， comfortable, good location, friendly staff

The room was far away from the lift and there were stairs at the corridor. Very inconvenient to get to the room while carrying big luggages

Room was dusty. Had not been cleaned thoroughly despite it not being ready when we arrived, which would suggest it was in process of being cleaned.! There was a spot of blood on the shower curtain which I reported and fair enough it was immediately taken down and changed. There was a piece of glass on the carpet which could have proved a hazard if I had stepped on it.

Unwelcoming reception. Leisure facilities poor condition and in many cases not working.

as a regular user of the carlton was very disappointed as my friend from australia had expected a a great experiance based on my recomendations Reception staff appeared irritable jacuzzie broken no dressing gowns no appointments for treatments all hot breakfast buffet dishes empty and no one about to fill them ended up with fruit and toast Such an oppisite stay from my last in feb when staff especially reception (kimberly i think )ensured I rebooked on my return home will need to think if I will again

small bedroom and in need of decorating and refurbishment. some parts of the hotel are also in need of refurbishment i,e.the corridors.

Our room had a very noisy radiator and we have to be moved to another room at 2 am which was unfortunate

We would have taken dinner for all three nights but found the same menu each night too restrictive

Convenient location near to Waverley station. Room refurbished in keeping with the hotel. Good buffet breakfast.

Windows were not double glazed and as we overlooked the street it was quite noisy.

Rooms were tidy but there was a gret need to polish and dust.

Noise at 3am in the morning from revellers in the street. Black pudding like rubber. Not enough milk in the room.

Hotel needs major staff training. Put into wrong room, meal took 40 minutes, mix up over payments. If you are going to stay here, eat out for dinner.

Tired,too big and impersonal,very small room overburdened with too much furniture that was not required (Huge desk,large table, old wardrobe,huge fridge (??)) and some that was required (no drawer space for example) very noisy heating

The staff were so friendly, each and every member of staff we encountered said hello. Food in the restaurant was really nice too. Excellent location. Room was very comfortable.

There was a noisy extraction fan/air con unit or similar but it didn't stop me sleeping! Would have been nice to have a bigger supply of tea bags in the room.

we enjoyed everthing about our stay from the moment we got there to the moment we left and would like to say the staff are the most pleasent we have had the joy of coming across. thanks so much.
