The Location Cleanliness Good breakfast

Recepionists indifferent (apart from the first on check in) Room extremely small should have been used as a single and not a double Overpriced for the area Hotel only partially full, would have been nice to have been given a decent room.

Our room must have been recently refurbished, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was fab. Best hotel stayed in so far in Blackpool. The breakfast was value for money too. Parking is also a bonus.

Fab location with easy parking facilities which is always an issue in Blackpool. Travelling with 2 teenagers meant they could go out knowing could get back easily. Breakfast great value for money.

Leaving in the morning

As we arrived at the double room, the door opened and hit the side of the bed, we had trouble getting our cases into the room through the gap, then on using the wash basin, foul smelling water backed up from the shower tray, there was damp patches on the wall, dust on the tv and shelves, then when we called down to complain we were told "There are no more rooms I will bring a super plunger and sort out the shower" this failed, we were then told "We can use the bathroom in the single room next door" and with a spray of air fresher the night porter was gone, had breakfast in the morning, that was just as bad as the room. My advice stay well away from this hotel.

I think staying there was like I lost my money

My husband and I just needed a break, we booked at the Carlton and was really happy with it. The hotel was clean and the room warm and comfortable even though a bit on the small side but all in all we can't complain after all £80 for both of us for the night is nothing to be sniffed at these days. The gent on the welcome desk was helpful and accomodating. The smells of the Indian Restaurant next door (this is something to do with the hotel think they maybe managing it) were incredible and even though we didnt go this time it reminded us just how good it is so we will be taking our 40 minute drive from home to come back and enjoy their culinary delights and we would stay at the hotel again.

Our room windows desperately needed a clean on the outside.

Pleasant and comfortable, not too noisy, decor ok, bedding preference provided. Decent breakfast - no complaints

Very small room, smallest hotel double I have ever been in, had to ask for a set of towels each as only one was left in room

We had a problem with our room soon after checking in late at night and the staff were really helpful trying to sort it out and when they could not they moved us to another room. He was helpful and polite and friendly.

The best western served my son and my reason for visiting Blackpool for the weekend. The hotel was quiet at night and location was close to where we wanted to be.

I thought the breakfast could have been warmer

The staff were very helpfull and friendly, the food was seconed to none, near all the shops when shopping, in other words I could not have wished for better, and I would highly reccomend hotel to my friends and others

Staff were excellent, especially the receptionist Tina.
