The staff at this hotel were excellent, it has a large free car park and is in an ideal location. The breakfast is second to none, hot, plenty and a wide choice. There was no food available during the day, dispite having a menu displayed.

The Jali Indian Restaurant - beautiful decor and excellent food. Even if not staying at the hotel I would definitely choose to eat here again. The noisy pipework, presumably for the heating, came on at 6 in the morning so no lie-in!

Clean and warm, good parking, friendly staff, excellent breakfast Room was small, bathroom very cramped, corridor noisy after 11pm with banging doors, started again at 6am. Have stayed before at least 3 times but a room at the back is not to be had again. Seaview rooms are the way to go!

A well run hotel with friendly and helpful staff.Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and good facilities E.G. tea/coffee making and spacious car parking. A special mention must be made about the fine breakfast the hotel provides as it really sets you up for the day.We had a great trip made all the better by our choice of hotel, but we had stayed here before so we knew what to expect. Thanks to all concerned and our best wishes to all the staff.

The location of the Hotel is excellent. I use the Carlton because I tend to use the Best Western Group when I travel. Prior to travelling to Blackpool, I spent four days at the Best Western McNiff Hotel in Dublin. However the Carlton would not rate as highly as the McNiff Hotel. Overall my group were fairly happy with the hotel. There was a damp smell when I entered my room. One other member of the group had a significant problem with the resident next door playing exceedingly loud music at 6.00am. He could not get any response from reception and had to phone the resident himself. When he complained next morning, the proposed solution was to move him instead of dealing with the disruptive customer. Heating was not easy to get right and rooms tended to be much too warm in the early evening. . Some staff could be a bit more customer friendly as I found a few a little bit diffident. Despite some reservations, we would intend to use the Carlton when again in Blackpool.

Very efficient check in, the hotel was fairly quiet for guests, but the staff were attentive and helpful. People banging bedroom doors shut late at night and perhaps the walls were a bit on the thin side so one could hear a heated conversation at 11.30pm. Then it all went quiet. From the voices I got the impression they may have been hotel staff in the room.

Clean comfortable hotel The staff in the hotel restaurant (and Indian restaurant- same staff) the lady who was taking guests into the restaurants was very tense and appeared under pressure even though the restaurant was not full. When you are on holiday you want to feel welcome and relaxed. The young lady has much to learn on hospitality and making people feel at ease. We felt in the way and that we were causing stress to the staff by being there not the best feeling

The staff where fantastic, we didnt arrive until after 8:30 pm so we should have missed the evening meal, but the staff still went out of there way for us so that we could have something from the full menu, all 3 course of which were delicious and piping hot....first class service all the way from the staff. Our room was a little damp and the shower needed repairing but it was clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff in both the restaurant and reception. The TV in the bedroom was a long way from the bed and not a large screen to compensate for distance. No curtain or blind in the bathroom despite overlooking road.

Gorgeous sea views with the beach right at your door. This is a must for anyone who likes a good quality hotel and value for money! Lovely ful english breakfast buffet and a choice of english or exceptional indian restaurant to choose from! We loved the hotel that much we will be getting married here in august! The best western served my son and my reason for visiting Blackpool for the weekend. The hotel was quiet at night and location was close to where we wanted to be. I thought the breakfast could have been warmer
