i paid 30 quid for a double room and you seriously can't complain at that.
Walking distance to shops. Quiet hotel. Lovely staff.
Very comfortable and clean, staff polite and helpful In every way
Price, car parking (make sure you get a parking ticket from reception)
Breakfast limited and slow service for all meals. Rooms were not services every day.
Not warm enough told reception improved 100%
Friendly staff, clean facilitiesand a very good breakfast
rooms alittle bit tired but clean and comfortable
The staff are always pleasant and it is a big bonus to be able to park your car outside the hotel at no cost.
The overall décor seems to be getting shabbier each time we visit. I believe a refurbishment may be imminent and it is now long overdue.
good location about 10 mins walk to Tower, hotel really nice and clean. Breakfast is a buffet but the food is hot and doesn't feel like its been sat for ages.
location staff friendly got a good deal wouldn't pay the full price asking
hotel rooms run down clean. ceiling had lots of marks like water burst from above rooms ,bay window ceiling was rotten hanging down, no one on the bar, had to ring bell every time ..only me and my friend in bar area after 9 pm all night no back ground music no atmosphere
The rooms were very clean and nicely presented
I was awake all night the wind was howling through the eves the noise was horrendous!!
Cheap and central ideal for visiting family near by
Room a bit small no entertainment

Wifi not brilliant but useable in the room, dated bathroom but functional and impressively clean, outside of building could do with a lick of paint
Staff, Food, location.
Mattresses were uncomfortable, and heating was noisy.
From start to the finish of our stay was excellent, the lady on reception when we checked in and serving evening meals was excellent, we will defornatetly stay at this hotel again
Location was great. Relaxed in bar overlooking promenade watching world go by. Staff friendly, helpful and well organised. Taxi rank and tram stop outside hotel if you didn't want to walk. 5minute walk to north pier and shops. Would definitely book to stay again.
There wasn't anything we didn't like?
Friendly receptionist Room change offered without asking to larger quieter room Comfortable bed Good location on sea-front
Nothing, it was fine for my needs
Breakfast very poor.parking not sufficient for size of hotel.hotel in generally poor condition.wallpaper peeling,tv in room not working, room generally clean but furnishings looked cheap .toaster in morning not working correctly.
Everything, just annoyed I did not book direct with the hotel.
Free hot chocolate. Good showers
Noisy rooms next door. Doors slamming all night.
Close to town centre, but not too close!, has own parking.Sea view is worth the money. Breakfast excellent. I am from Blackpool originally, so I know where to book!
Decor is a little tired
The staff, the breakfast, the location, the upgrade to sea view.
Room slightly small, but not a problem, heating came on a bit late in evening for the winter months, but again not a problem - considering the wonderful value. Surprisingly comfortable room, well decorated and snug. Lots of tea and coffee supplied, would definately visit again and already recommended to others.
Friendly, good food and spacious room.Great location.
Bit of a smell from bathroom sink.Bit of bleach may do the trick!
This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Best Western this year. The check in is excellent, breakfast top class and the rooms spotless.
We have always given a 5 star review on every previous visit however on this occassion it was very dissappointing. I accept we booked last minute but we paid for a double room. We stayed in room 312 which was a single room with 2 single beds pushed together. To get in bed i had to climb in at the bottom and sleep against the wall which was most uncomfortable. I am not one to complain but this is not acceptable. Im sure the Carlton will not read or do anything about it but we have always enjoyed our stay here but unfortunately i wont be returning i feel like ive been ripped off.
