Location, staff, price
Thin walls we could hear everyone talking in the other rooms.
Location just 2 min. walk from King's Cross/St. Pancras. Clean rooms. Free wifi.
Unstable water temperature in the shower. Sugar free orange flavour drink instead of orange juice for the otherwise good breakfast.
I liked the location, and after complaining about the room they changed me to a better one.
When I got to the first room, after walking through a maze of narrow winding corridors up to the fourth floor, it was a disaster. The room was tiny and dingy, the beds looked as if they were for kids. Neither the TV nor wifi worked, all I could hear was sirens, loud talking and construction going on, so I went downstairs to check out, if they didn't have anything better.
The location was superb Room size was generous
The shower didnt have much hot water (despite turned to max heat) and water was very small. Could hardly take a decent shower.
location Staff were friendly
Was not told about WIFI Huge crack all along the sink Half a toilet roll only Poor lighting No blinds at the window Room was cold (I know you get what you pay for but I have stayed in rooms for the same price within that location and to a better standard)
Bed was comfortable. It was basic, but clean so ideal for staying in the city for one night.
Room was a little old fashioned.
Easy to locate, perfect situation near station, shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff, the guy on reception Nigel could not do enough for me, very personable and thoughtful. Decent breakfast in the morning all together real value for money.
- breakfast - location
- staff at reception unkind and rather rude - cleaning curtains might happen at more appropriate moment - shower hose in bad conditions - dusty and dirty electric water boiler - no fridge in the room
Price. Location. If you want basic and cheap, this is spot on
I paid for basic so was happy enough
1.Location- very close to King Cross , eating outlets. 2.It has a small lift and cooked breakfast 3. Strong building tile stairs and reasonable space bathroom with strong tile
Heating can not get all the time but it is a budget B&B and hot water is provided 24 hour.
Very close to Kings Cross station.
No batteries in TV remote!
Location. The buffet breakfast was quite good. Full English and plenty of toast. Clean but scruffy.
Room at the front on the first floor was unbelievably noisy. Window wouldn't close completely to keep the noise out. Tiny double bed, tiny shower which smelt of drains. Worst of all, no instructions in room on what to do in event of fire.
1.Excellent location for me as I brought heavy load and could not walk far.It is located at the opposite to station, very close to Chop Chop ,INDIAN shops and Mc Donald. 2. Impressed by well-built building, a good ensuite room with well- built strong tiles, good wooden floor and stairs (compared to other B&B near by where mainly wooden stairs stairs and shabby toilet with very little space shower ) 3. It has a small lift to go upstairs as well. 4. Cook breakfast. 5. Extra pillow for my painful neck, thanks 6. A table and chair, a reasonable size ward robe 7. A small flat TV
Basic Hotel with no frills. Good Breakfast.
great location,. Room as expected for the price. very nice breakfast. Sure the lift was small, but you have been warned. Wifi in room. Overall all good, would stay again. Staff adeqate
The room was a bit spartan.
Location is perfect Price was good (£108 for 2 days)
During the breakfast we had to wait for the bread for a while Shower
The kettle boiled very fast
Living in a cupboard.
Very good would stay there again
Uncomfortable bed. Smelly bathroom. No hot water.
Handy for the tube.
Room a bit in the tight side.
There was a lady on reception who was very rude, soured the stay completely
location was good for the tube and trains.
I have traveled all over the world and stayed in London thirteen times and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Left early and the hotel refused to refund any money. It is a ran down unmaintained property. the beds are very old and not only are they uncomforable they creaked do bad they wake you up as do the ajoining rooms due to the walls being so thin. It is inpossible to get a good nights sleep. This place is a scam,
Awesome location; beautiful complimentary English breakfast buffet ... you won't leave hungry!; Nicely heated (English winter time: shiver!!!); Conscientious and efficient staff; Will stay again when budget-aware traveling.
Fixtures on doors and windows battered, and needing replacing; No option to bolt the room door; No smoking rooms
