location cleanliness coffee facilities in room
small lift breakfast till 930am (we are slow starters)
Good location, staff helped to book a taxi
The room and toilet is too small
The location was perfect.
It's a small cramped place and the staff aren't that friendly.
The bed was really comfy and location was fantastic and our beds were made each morning
Not enough dining tables, we were put in a cubby hole that was a bit smelly! There were workmen outside our room working from very early to very late and one side of the road was blocked! No proper milk in the rooms it was powdered sachets that clumped when making a drink
Easy to find
No internet in the rooms. When they mean public areas it is about 10 square meters in the lobby. Every time I wanted on I had to go down 4 floors! It is the 21st and they could increase their value by having a wi-fi on each floor!
Room and hotel were all very clean Room was tidy and had everything I needed Hotel was kept nice and warm Buffet breakfast was reasonable View of St Pancras out of my window
The shower cubicle in my room was bit dingy, and not very inviting
Easy for train, tube and bus
Very close to the international station. Suitable for stay on tge night before catching early trains.
Very small rooms. Didn't have any good facilities.
Location Price (69 for a night) Room was a decent size
Shower was cold
Only the location is good as nearby to tube station. Easy to find restaurants for dinner and etc..
Don't get cheated by the photos advertised. The room very small, dirty and noisy. The bed 20 yrs old. Mattress very stink. Toilet very small and it's disgusting. Night you may disturbed by the noise from other customers. One night, when we are sleeping, suddenly the room door been open by the hotel worker. My wife screamed then he quickly closed the door again. He went to reception, he called and appologised for the mistake. For the first time in our life it's happen like that. However for the hotel staff works there, they will treat you like you're owing them money. No greeting, no smiling and no frendliness at all. When you're having breakfast in their coffee house, they will start clearing the place without informing you also. As a conclusion, this is the worst hotel which we ever stayed before.
The situation was convenient. I'd asked for a quiet room and got one. The breakfast was simple but well cooked.
the location is great a 3 minute walk from kings cross. the desk staff were polite and helpful breakfast was adequate not outstanding with little choice if you did't want a fry up.
the 'double' room description was a bit of a stretch, about 9x9 foot. the bed was a three quarter as a full size double would not fit, the over the bed light was at least 4 foot from the bed. the tv should be wall mounted so it can be watched from the bed. this would give more room for the tea facilities (kettle was on floor). have stayed in a lot of hotels in this area for the same price and whilst this one is not at the top it is not at the bottom either. the sensor lighting in the very small bathroom meant you were plunged into darkness if you remained still for more than a few seconds
everything else. Bed was small for me. The shower dribbles water out so a normal 5 min shower takes 25 min. I'm glad I didn't have to wash my hair. Breakfast was edible. There are many hotels in area next time I will find another one.
Comfortable bed and quiet room
Breakfast easily accessible but not always fresh due to serve yourself service. Could have used a hairdryer in my room but understand they are available from reception.
I asked for an upper room and got it. There was no problems with noise either from inside or outside the hotel. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, although not a lot left by the time i got down, but that was my fault. All in all it is a good hotel in a good location at a good price. I will deffinately come back and stay again.
Nothing really to dislike Outside the hotels concern is the footpath construction directly outside, but will add to the hotel on completion.
Location next to Kings Cross station, ease of access to theatres via a short tube ride, a quiet room on the back, good English breakfast, overall good value.
Small room, no wardrobe (just hooks on the wall), very cramped ensuite, no shower gel or hairdryer provided, steep stairs to upper rooms, noisy door spring-closers which led to disturbed sleep with guests arriving late and leaving early from adjacent rooms.
The location is excellent and only a couple of minutes walk away from Kings Cross Station. The rooms were a reasonable size and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was ok and as it was included in the room was price good value for money. The staff were all helpful and pleasant.
The furniture in the rooms is a bit dated (some so old it can probably be classed as back in fashion!), as it is near a busy transport hub it can get a bit noisy outside.
No signal on tv, lots of stairs and small corridors
Location Value for money Clean room and en suite Basic but good breakfast
A bit noisy when other guests get in their rooms and vibration of the trains.
This hotel is next to the main road, there was construction noise, ambulance and cars noise almost the whole evening every day, it is definitely not ideal for anyone who wants a good sleep in the evening.
Very handy for an early train from Kings Cross
very practically located staff is nice
very very noisy, cold, not at all charming..
The price is really too high for a small room. It's worth half the price.
