Location is excellent. Close to Underground and National Rail....Many choices of food and supermarkets nearby. Staff is ok. The breakfast is fair, but those 2 ladies there are very hard-working. Internet works inside the room, but the signal is very weak. We never try the downstair lobby. The hotel is located at main intersection. Traffic is very busy and noisy, especially a lot of sirens all day long. We need to close the window at night and leave the fan on, or bring the earplugs with you. The room is very small that we are expected. However the furniture is very cheap and lack of maintainance. The drawers are broken and there is a fist mark on the toilet door. We stay there for 6 nights. They clean the room everyday, but the floor is never been swapped/mopped. Besides we need to use our shampoo, tooth paste... One of the wall plug is not working. If they can rotate different choices of breakfast everyday, it will be much better. Then we don't need to eat the same breakfast for a week! Moneywise I still recommend.

The great position, near St.Pancras Station and British Museum, at 10 minutes from Oxford street. Great location! Wi fi connection not available in the room, I had to go to ground floor.

Next to King's Cross St. Pancras station, so you can go easily in ever place you want to London. The area has many 24/7 restaurants and mini markets and you can have anytime, everything you want. There were no sockets inside the room, so if you want to reload your cell phone for example, you have to find another option. The breakfast restaurant was very small and the breakfast was very poor, considering the price of the room.

Very handy for an overnight stay if catching a train from Kings Cross or Eurostar Rooms were very small and very noisy at the front. In the first room I was offered neither the tv or bedside light worked (in fact the bedside light plug was faulty with screws missing and could have been dangerous) . Although the staff offered me another room when I complained

Easy to reach, opportunity to leave luggage safely, free wifi. Bit noisy, both street as upstairs neighbours, but to be expected (bring earplugs). Breakfast wasn't too good, staff a bit stressed out. Bathroom was really narrow, wouldn't recommend this hotel to a somewhat bigger person.

The best point in this hotel is the location. 100M from the hotel, there is the metro station Kings Cross - St Pancras. From this station are coming 5 underground lines. Except of that, from this station, you can take the National Railway to other towns of uk or the Euro-star train to Paris. Near the hotel, there are a lot of restaurants and a bank for exchange. The bathroom was small and uncomforted. The staff of hotel was not helpful.

Room was clean, cotton sheets, breakfast provided. Only two bars of soap for toiletries. Only one cup and saucer and glass even though booked for a couple - although we didn't bother asking for more! Ensuite a bit small. Only had powdered milk for tea/coffee. Very noisy outside hotel on Saturday night - shouting, swearing, sirens! Quieter on the Sunday. Fortunately we had been given a room facing the side street and not Euston Road itself. I'd e-mailed to ask if we could leave luggage there, reply said that there was a luggage room which there wasn't although we were able to leave suitcase behind bar on arrival. When leaving we were told suitcase couldn't be left behing bar but on show, so decided to leave at Left Luggage instead at station.

We were in London for less than 24 hrs, so we liked the fact that the hotel was only across the road from Kings Cross. The breakfast was good quality, as we didn't expect much as the hotel is cheap for London. Not much choice, but enjoyable. Very comfy bed. The rooms were 'tired' well more like exhausted, but clean. We mended the tv and the shower and the tap !!!! Don't be put off, it's ok for a one night stay.

The breakfast was freshly made and hot. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. It was near the station (across the road) so convenient if travelling on somewhere by train. The over-mirror light was not working in the bathroom and one of the bedside lamps was also broken. There was not a convenient socket to use for the hairdryer I.E. not near the dressing table and mirror. The furniture was very low budget and was badly chipped.

Not much to be honest. I feel like a paid a budget-hotel price for a dingy hostel. The room was falling apart completely. It was facing the street yet had no double glazing, and obviously facing St. Pancras it was incredibly noisy.

Staff very kindly offered to hold my bag for the day without charge, whilst I was on a daytrip to France (Eurostar). Friendly staff. Room was very small but newly refurbished and clean. Here you get basic facilities at an affordable price ... no complaints.

Good hotel for short stay, when needing to travel by train/metro from King's Cross or St. Pancras. The hotel is only fair. Accommodations did not stand out in any way - older hotel, older decor, small rooms, little amenities (does include breakfast). I was in the hotel for 7 total hours. It sufficed for what I needed: Place to sleep, internet, breakfast, shower and most importantly a 1-minute walk to King's Cross in the morning.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
