We stay at the hotel a couple of times every year. It is conveniently situated, the standard of service is always very good and staff are friendly and helpful. There are many communal areas, both large and small, and all are comfortable.

The informality yet friendliness of staff,.on the reception and in the dining room was lovely and they were so helpful. Food well cooked and presented

The chambermaid did not replace snacks etc as we were told by reception also TV/air con had not been checked before we arrived but once we had told reception they sorted it. Disaster with the loo but again was all sorted pretty quick. But it was down to us to report.

Location of hotel. Room was large and bed comfortable. Restaurant was nicely situated with views over river and food of reasonable quality and price. The staff were polite and helpful.

The room and hotel in general was far too hot. Other members of our party made the same comment. Aircon had to be left on during day, but too noisy for night use. Having to pay £12.50 each for breakfast on top of a high room price isn't good value. I get much better value at Premier Inn! Cheap electric kettle didn't work and sink plug was broken off of chain. Not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Lack of enough car parking spaces.

Quiet room, good restaurant, not disturbed by fellow guests (wedding party). Very convenient for Hampton Court

Hard bed, breakfast not served until 8:00AM on weekends.

The receptionist Sherise was very helpful and friendly both prior to our arrival and on arrival.

Proximity to Palace, Waterside location and view, quaint village nearby

bed was too firm for my liking.

Rambling building full of character. Big room. River restaurants.

Bit scuffed in public areas. Limited parking..and a headache.

The Staff were friendly, obliging and efficient. The room was well equipped . Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant position unique with views of the Thames.

The room has a terrace which was dirty and badly maintained and even if the weather had been better it would not have been a pleasant area to use in that condition. Also since this was a premium room it was located in the basement with absolutely no outlook. Entrance /reception area looking tired.

Excellent service and great staff, nice atmosphere. Easy access into London by car or train.

Inadequate parking facilities, only room for about ten cars, so get there early if you want a space!

Decor of the rooms were very tired and the furniture in the bedroom appeared cheap and old. Buffet breakfast on sunday was not included in the booking, the bacon and black pudding were rock hard and the scrambled egg appeared grey

Good location. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast - didn't have any other meals. Comfortable rooms.

Poor Parking facilities. Some of the room facilities did not work (eg tv) Perhaps due to swollen river there was a hint of damp in the room/s - but there were dehumidifiers in each room!

Large bedrooms. Complimentary mini bar. Lovely scenic dining room.

Being charged twice for our stay and having to wait 7 days from our bank to have it reimbursed. Having to get a new number every day to access internet.

This hotel is in an excellent location - just over the road from Hampton Court Palace. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. We stayed one night. Can recommend the breakfast taken in the restaurant overlooking the river. Attentive waiters and good choice of delicious food.

Unfortunately we had a somnambulist in the room above us - as the floor creaked we had a disturbed night's sleep.

As usual, I loved my days at the Hotel. The staff were particularly excellent and really looked after me. I always enjoy staying here which is why I come back year after year! Yet again top marks from me. Wendy Hall
