I am in the S. Yorks area most weeks ovwr past 5 months & have tried a number of hotels. Carlton Park has become my hostelry of choice & I will always try to book there before anywhere else. At the risk of it becoming too popular (& therefore making it less available for me!) I have to say that it is probably the best all round hotel in the area taking everything, price, facilities, location, into account. |

Staff were very helpful. Room was very comfortable though a trifle over-heated when we first moved in. Room was quiet in spite of the partying going on in the hotel - a great plus! |

Friendly staff, quick check-in/out, gym/spa good, restaurant menu reasonably good, location excellent for clients. Shower not great on upper floors but OK on ground. No ginger ale mixers! |

Television in room good with Sky Sports. Room comfortable with good facilities if a little small. Blood stains on bath towel. Food not good but I was given a refund. |

We use the hotel when visiting family in the area. As meals tend to be with local relatives we have never been in your bar or restraunt. However we do enjoy using the pool, sauna and jacussi when we stay. |

The hotel and staff were welcoming and friendly . The bar was cosy and the rooms for he wedding were beautifully laid out. All the facilities at the hotel were first class. The food was tasty and well presneted. We enjoyed our stay very much and would use this in future for family celelbrations only one thing form the h and s aspect. the breakfast room was very crowded at busy times and it was diffciult to pass between tabkes, dangerous with hot drinks and food. |

This is a good hotel with friendly staff. Good parking facilities and the gym, sauna, swimming pool are all well maintained and clean. The room are spacious and a large flat screen TV for entertainment. Food was reasonably priced and the bar area was comfortable. Lighting near the mirror in the bathrooms could be improved, especially when shaving more powerful light would help. |

I found the staff very helpfull and accomodating the facilities offered were more than anticipated for the price paid. The only negative comment I would make was that the function rooms were very hot, air conditioning would have been great. |
