i am sorry to say the breakfast was dry

We liked the spa,our room was as we asked for over looking playing fields the staff on reception was lovely an friendly the breakfast was good value ,if we had a know we would have ordered scrambled eggs but not a problem good quality tea an coffee in room we asked for more milk not a problem this was our second visit to carlton park and love stopping there we are booking later on this year for an other break

Nothing really maybe some blinds at windows

Always a friendly welcome and any requests dealt with promptly and politely.Request for specific room usually met.

Only down-side would maybe being able to hear the adjoining room's toilet useage! Otherwise we are always delighted with the Carlton.

The rooms had everything in that you could want. The rooms were cosy and homely. Staff very polite and welcoming.

The rooms were a bit cold at nite as they turned heating off. Asked for a wake up call and we didn't get one which made us 10 mins late for check out.

Four poster bed was squeaky even the frame moved. We'd gone for our romantic nights out. Worse sleep I've ever had. Reported it to the reception all she said was I'll report it and put it in the main trance book, no apologies are anything.

Leisure centre was excellent. Very clean and child friendly.

Rooms need some updating.

Good menu, however, the meat was very chewy. I ordered the rump steak, which was cooked exactly as I requested - medium rare, but not tender at all. The bacon at breakfast was also hard and tough

All staff were very welcoming. Room and bed were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent-very good value for money. Rooms were exceptionally quiet-one of the quietest rooms that I have stayed in

My husband is 6'7" tall - the bed could have been bigger. Kettle didn't work in the room.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Entertainment throughout the evening was also very good.

Room unclean and extremely cold. After 2 complaints about the cold we were given a very small portable heater which really was not suitable to heat the room at all. Room was dusty on high furniture and the window frame had a thick layer of dust/grime on it. Tissue box in bathroom had 1 tissue on it for display!

Lovely clean room, very soft towels, efficient reception. Good choice at breakfast

Hotel location near to major road networks for Rotherham and Sheffield. Room spacious and tidy; excellent power shower; good TV and radio

Bed too firm for my personal preference. Better information on local sites and attractions. Buffet breakfast not good.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, the hotel looks like a 4 stars one; we recommend this hotel; we had a great time there!

I thought the leisure centre good, and the public rooms spaceius.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. The bar food was nice.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. No shampoo/conditioner provided in the bathroom.
