Staff were excellent. Close to beach and town. Breakfast and evening meal was spot on. Shower was good, lots of presure

Double bed was small Bath was small but didnt effect us because we had showers

Good Location, staff were helpful and friendly, however at breakfast staff seemed more intrested in talking to one another than taking our order.When our order was taken breakfast was excellent very filling got more than we expected. Room was average got what you paid for only downfall was blood liked stains on our duvet, lady at the reception was very apologetic and got us a new one stright away. Overall i would stay here again.

We had the best room in the hotel in the left hand turret, so it was wonderful. The staff were great, we would stop again. Shame there was no food in the evening as it was out of season but next time?!?!

The view from our room was of Fistral beach and the golf course, absoultely beautiful. The sunset directly into the room. The room was spacious and clean. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on how to make our stay better. Definetely value for money.

Great location with an amazing view. We ate in the bar and the food and service was excellent and well priced.

The location, that's about it.

It looked quite different online. The staff seemed bored at most times. No pro-activity. The greeting had to come from the guest and not from the staff. And even though the booking was confirmed 10 days prior with the request for quiet rooms we still had a room directly above the bar and had to listen to everything until late. It was meant to have been a relaxing end to our holiday, but that did not happen. We were so tired after the night that we were not able to enjoy the daytime. When talking to staff about it we were told there was no function going on. The rooms were extremly small, a lot smaller then London Hotel Rooms and the bathrooms smelled of damp. This was not the first Hotel at the cost, but the most dissapointing. The staff was the biggest let down, as they seemed mostly bored with their chores. Not recommendable.

Staff very helpful and friendly - food was inventive and of excellent quality. Very quiet and peaceful just metres away fro a very touristy 'high street'.

We enjoyed our stay at the carnmarth very much. The owner, Will, was very helpfull and went a long way to ensuring everything went well. Thanks very much to him. We will stay there again

On occasions, I stood a little too long at the bar waiting to be served, but maybe that says more about me than them. Lol
