“ We had a very pleasant stay at Carolina. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good with choices to satisfy everyone. The hotel is not far from town and there is a frequent bus service with a stop just across the road. We both felt very welcome and I would go back there again. ”

The family-run Carolina Guest House offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is 1.5 miles from central Cambridge and there is a bus stop outside the guesthouse with services every 10 minutes. Very clean and modern. Convenient parking and friendly owner. Good breakfast and the owner coped very well when we turned up unexpectedly as booking.com did not send the confirmation on time!!! Slight road noise. Would not use booking.com at the last minute as they do not advise the owner in time.

Young couple from Hungary. We stayed 6 nights. Location is perfect. We really enjoyed Pasquale's vegetarian full English breakfasts. Service was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. We found our room very comfortable. We really have nice memories from this place. N/a

Read the bad things, nothing good, well one: a free room!! Untidy and mold in the shower! Also are the rooms poorly soundproofed (in the room above was a guest snoring very badly)!!!!. Also was the bed very uncomfortable (was more or less like a trampoline)!!! Very unpolite personal, only spoke with my girlfriend!!! The price was definetly too high for this, next time i prefer a tent!!!! The advices for dinning out were not acceptable, in that place i would not like to go with my girlfriend!!

Hosts Pas and Carolina were friendly. Cooked English was good. Convenient location with bus-stop literally at door step for bus into Cambridge. We booked a family room for 4 adults. It was actually just a bigger double room with a rolled out single bed and a sofa bed made up to accommodate 4. So it was really cramp with very little space to move around. With the price we paid, we could have gotten 2 rooms instead. The room was old with really worn out carpets that needed replacing. The bathroom door doesn't close properly and the towel rack was about to fall off. In the room, you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway and if you are in the hallway, you van hear people talking in their rooms.

The breakfast was great,and the restaurant that the householder recommended to us was also perfect.The faciciliies inside the room is clean and comfortable.Great worthing the money. The only problem is the bed is not so comfortable.

The bedroom was modern and attractive, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. It was very much left up to us whether we had breakfast there or not, and since there was a welcome tray in the room it was easy just to make a hot drink and get on the road in the morning. You can park there overnight, which can be a big problem in Cambridge.

This Guest house was good value for money.comfortable.clean and well situated.The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Will stay again when visiting.Very nice breakfast too. There wasn't any dislikes.

everything was spot on for us, pas(the boss)was very helpful,nothing was too much trouble for him.where to go in the city,where to eat at nights,and we have to give him 10 out of 10 for that.a very good point for staying at caroline guest house was we left the car there.and got on bus (other the side of the road)into city,no car park fees.nothing we could find fault with. just to finish off with ,the breakfast was second to none.and we will return..

Lovely, spacious rooms, good facilities, very nice breakfast and carolina is most helpful. A fair walk from town - although I love to walk I would recommend taking the bus.
