The cleanliness and comfort of this hotel was second to none. The staff were cheery and more than helpful, we had originally booked for two nights but once we saw the standards of the hotel we booked another night. Our room was a family room which was very spacious, a double bed, and bunk beds for the grandchildren. As for breakfast, if you came away from the table in the morning hungry and not feeling refreshed you are doing something wrong!! Breakfast included, various cereals, yogurts, fruit juices, various jams, toast making machine, for a cooked breakfast everything was there for a full English breakfast, and finally tea or coffee, what else could anyone ask for ? first class. This hotel is not for stag/hen night parties but is more geared towards families and older guests, if you like a refreshment we found the prices no more expensive and in fact cheaper than what you would pay on the piers or some of the pubs on the promenade and we were sitting in comfort while having our drinks, I cannot comment on the evening meals as we did not have chance to have one at the hotel, having two young grandchildren with us wanting to see everything Blackpool had to offer did not allow us the luxury off sitting down for a meal at the hotel, I am sure the standard of the meal would have been excellent if the breakfast was anything to go by. Finally we arrived by car and had no problem at all on our dates with parking, the hotel has it's own car park and also parking is available outside the hotel with no restrictions. Superb Hotel!!!!

Good staff and modern hotel I was annoyed that dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel and certain members of staff said'just sneak them in' If you allow dogs in the guest rooms can you make that clear on your website .There is no way we would have stayed in your hotel if we had known dogs stayed in the rooms.

When we arrrived at the Carousel Hotel the staff were very friendly. Our room was cosy, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our breakfast as there was a good choice food available and it was very tasty. I would recommend the Carousel to my friends, I would stay there again if ever I was in Blackpool.

The room was plenty big enough. The receptionist was extremely helpful. The bed was quite comfortable and there was no noise from other guests. Parking was easy outside the hotel and the buses and trams were 2 mins walk. The lift could do with updating - if gate left open no lift. The bar food was not very wonderful - we did not eat in the main resturant apart from breakfast. The shower was excellent but cubicle was too small

Good value hotel (at the price we paid) comparable to a Premier Inn which I would normally use for an overnight stay. To describe the parking as "limited" is an understatement. It should clearly state only 10 spaces for 90 bedrooms (or whatever the true figures are) To have to leave the car round the corner on the road was not ideal. Also, my daughter and grand-daughter were in the adjacent room and you could hear everything through the wall.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was lovely. The room was nice and clean, beds very comfortable, and they provided a cot. Very reasonably priced. It was quite a walk from the town and the pleasure beach, especially for our 5 year old son, but the trams run frequently and there was a tram stop quite near, so not really a bad thing.

The location was ideal, car parking was easy, the tram stop was a stones throw away from the hotel and with the location of the hotel it was just far enough away from the pleasure beach that you had a quiet nights sleep for the kids. The staff were great especially the receptionist.

the hotel itself was fine, the reception and breakfast were above what i expected. the room itself was spacious enough however it had a horrible smell (stale and urine) which only went away after leaving the windows open. My real disappointment was that after the hotel rang us and asked how old the boys were (12 & 15) we were given a small sofa bed, not big enough for both of them, and a camp bed, which neither of them could have slept on. Too small, thin and uncomfortable. So the boys didn't sleep well at all.
