The cleanliness and comfort of this hotel was second to none. The staff were cheery and more than helpful, we had originally booked for two nights but once we saw the standards of the hotel we booked another night. Our room was a family room which was very spacious, a double bed, and bunk beds for the grandchildren. As for breakfast, if you came away from the table in the morning hungry and not feeling refreshed you are doing something wrong!! Breakfast included, various cereals, yogurts, fruit juices, various jams, toast making machine, for a cooked breakfast everything was there for a full English breakfast, and finally tea or coffee, what else could anyone ask for ? first class. This hotel is not for stag/hen night parties but is more geared towards families and older guests, if you like a refreshment we found the prices no more expensive and in fact cheaper than what you would pay on the piers or some of the pubs on the promenade and we were sitting in comfort while having our drinks, I cannot comment on the evening meals as we did not have chance to have one at the hotel, having two young grandchildren with us wanting to see everything Blackpool had to offer did not allow us the luxury off sitting down for a meal at the hotel, I am sure the standard of the meal would have been excellent if the breakfast was anything to go by. Finally we arrived by car and had no problem at all on our dates with parking, the hotel has it's own car park and also parking is available outside the hotel with no restrictions. Superb Hotel!!!!

The hotel was in a good location, it was clean, and the staff were really nice. They even helped us get our car out of the tight car park on Sunday morning. The hotel had recently been refurbished however the tv signal was poor and the tv did not have Freeview. There was also a patch of peeling paint behind the dressing table. The shower cubicle was also very small. These are not really complaints, just observations as we were only there for one evening.

We stayed in a Family room and although small was comfortable This is a perfect location for beach and pleaseure beach at the quieter end of town so no disturbance at night. Literally 5 minute walk from Pleasure Beach entrance. Not a great deal of parking but we managed to get a spot Food was great actually but get down to breakfast earlier as it did run out on the hot buffet. Howard, the entertainment on Saturday evenings is great, Bingo and Hoy are a must :-) The Hotel inside is a funny shape and sometimes takes a bit of navigation to find your room. Wouldn't like to try after a few too many scoups. But there are lifts so don't worry about lugging heavy suitcases up stairs.

staff freindly meals were a massive let down, booked in for three nights and only went for one breakfast, if seemed to have been sitting for ages and congealed, had to ask for an egg. We also tried an evening meal of chicken, asked for a gravy or sauced told no, however when I looked at bar menu they offer you approx 4 different sauces,

The hotel was generally very clean and the food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and polite at all times. The standard rooms are inward facing and have little natural light, the 'superior' rooms are much better and have more light and air.

Myself and my boyfriend found the hotel very clean and welcoming, the shower was the only let down about the whole experience as it was limited with hot water. On our last night we had room service which was amazing, and was'nt to expensive.

the hotel was large and modern and was excellent value for money. The breakfast was good - fruit, cereal and hot buffet. Staff were helpful and friendly. The evening entertainment was good and the bar prices were reasonable. The bed rooms were not huge but were adequate for our family trip. We would definately recommend the hotel and will be back again.

The Carousel Hotel was deorated to a very high standard and clean throughout. The receptionist was extremely helpful and the best I have ever seen. The location was a little far from the main pubs/bars which was the main reason for our visit to Blackpool. However due to how nice the hotel was i would use it again.

The food 2nd to none and room service brilliant sheets were clean and crisp, staff friendly I booked a family room and the single room, original single smelt very strongly of blocked drains so asked for another room, they obliged. How ever the 2nd room ( family ) had not been booked even though I used booking.com and had a few minutes of panic. The 1st room had bunk-beds, not appropriate for a 3 and 4 year old. The 2nd family room was adequate, however- there was a shower so small you couldn't turn in it and the bathroom flooded as you couldn't direct shower-head away from door whilst entering and bathing to small children. No baths in any family rooms. The sofa bed was filthy on the cushions but the actual bedding clean. The carpets were dirty and thread bare in some places and the kettle tea tray idly sat on the dressing table, not safe for small children. The lamp on the desk kept flicking off and on and I soon realised it was broken and only just connecting to the electric. We were not shown to rooms and it took us ages to find them it was like a maze each level identical could do with differing colours on each level. In the evening a 50th party was booked in the function room that night several fights broke out and we were disturbed several times because of banging, boob-boom- bass from disco and drunks walking freely in corridors.

We found the Carousel Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, comfortable with all the facilities you needed. Entertainment for children/adults were good. Food was excellent. Fantastic Sea veiw. We wold like to thank the Carousel Hotel for a lovely stay and we would definitly go back. The only thing we did not like was the car parking where we had to park our car out on the side streets away from the Hotel out of sight due to the car park was full.

Hotel was very clean and warm, staff were nice and friendly, I felt a little bit rushed during breakfast like the staff wanted us out of the restaurant they take empty plates very quickly I had a feeling the room was being set up for another occasion. Its just a shame the hotel isn't slightly closer to the main front as its a fair walk which I didn't mind but it put other people off staying there.

I requested a large room for my elderly disabled parents. I booked a family room for them which was supposed to sleep 4. When we came to make up a bed for a child we were instructed to pull down the sofa. This did not fit when dwn. I have no idea how a family of 4 woild be expectd to sleep there. Poor set up.
