Very clean and the bar and restaurant area is very modern. The bedrooms need a little bit of modernising but overall very comfortable and clean.
Friendly bar and breakfast staff very helpful
Was unaware that you would still have to pay £5 for breakfast if you only had bowl of cornflakes. Website says full English £5 not all breakfast £5
Reception were very good, helpful and friendly
Family room directly above the bar meant music was louder in our room than the bar, but did turn it off when asked at 11pm. Cleaner swore continuously despite my 2 young children being in ear shot.
upon arrival the greeting was very polite, very helpful and accomodating. The staff were thoughtful, and caring. The room was clean and organised. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was clean, fresh and well laid out
The quality and price of food lets down the place. Dinner is over priced for what you get and the choice of vegetarian food is extremely limited. Breakfast, -- buffet is limited, cooked breakfast was on the cold side and again the choice for vegetarians was not advertised. I have to say 10/10 for the hotel, 5/10 for food, Premier inn restaurants offer much better choices of food
Food is excellent
Noisy pipes in bedroom
Staff friendly and very helpful, food was lovey and plentiful.Hotels reception, bar, eating area decorated very nice.
Some of the bedrooms a little dated, the room my daughter and granddaughter stayed in was in need of a makeover.FOund bar area very chilly and was told from a member of staff that quite a few guests had complained regarding this matter.
Good location and good food. Drinks prices were good value too. All members of staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
Extremely friendly staff with excellent breakfast the smoked haddock was the best I've ever tasted. Cleanliness of room was also very good as well as the location for site seeing on Anglesey.
Bathroom was a little dated but clean.
Restaurant and bar, especially good breakfasts; friendly staff, plenty of parking, excellent fluffy towels. Good situation to explore Anglesey although the hotel is difficult to find if using a sat-nav. Ignore it and turn left off the Britannia Bridge and then immediate left. Easy!
Drab, tired bedroom decor with a touch of eccentricity, e.g. bathroom fan had a mind of its own, damage to light cover, couldn't close one window, wardrobe doors had no handles so had to kneel on the floor and pull bottom of doors to open! Oh, and the stairs up to our room seemed never-ending.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the evening meal and it was very good. Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom was a bit tired & not enough spaces to hang towels. We were put in the room above the boiler/generator and it was very noisy, however it did stop over night. More feedback than negative: The postcode takes you to another property on SatNav.
First impressions were good. Decor a little tired in the hallways leading to the rooms, a few scuff marks here and there. Room very pleasant and clean, as was the bathroom. Nice welcome tray and toiletries. Lovely soft, white towels. Lovely breakfast, amazing value for only £5 and pleasant service.
Shower control extremely stiff, I recommend taking a rubber glove to get some grip, but ok to turn off. We mentioned it at reception, who knew about the problem, and had tried to resolve without success. Only two coat hangers, one each!!! At breakfast, please warm the teapot first, as the tea goes cold very quickly!
Big comfortable bed, excellent food, lovely friendly staff
Lack of double glazed windows
Dinning facilities and bar ,evening meals were good . Staff were friendly . Handy position for getting to different places to visit .
Breakfast was not good had to leave the cooked breakfast on first morning it was over cooked had to ask for poached eggs second morning as I did not want to have the same experience ,stood waiting for toast to cook longer than it took to eat breakfast .Rooms were cold but it was the coldest day of the year water in bath was not warm enough .décor in rooms could do with being updated .
Receptionist was friendly. Bed was comfy. Did their best regarding allergies.
Staff obviously disgusted at slightly rowdy children who had been stuck in a car for 5 hours. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Left phone charger in room when left, but it 'disappeared'. What dropping from broken fan in bathroom onto head when using basin. Light by bed did not work. Food not very good.
Location and warmth of hotel
central heating a little noisy and bathroom a little dated.
I asked if i could possible have best room available as fir;st time myself and partner had been away and it was his birthday treat, they upgraded us to the Bridal suite. food was amazing, and staff were incredibly helpful. would would stay again and recommend to others. also grounds were lovely.
room was a little warm, but it was unseasonably warm at the time, and cleaners where very noisy in the morning.
very clean Comfortable Friendly staff Close to Bangor & the mountains
Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.
A bit run down and a bit of a rabbit warren. Expensive for the quality of room if you compare this hotel to Ibis or Travelodge which are similarly priced.
Plenty of car park spaces
nice area, and friendly staff. good size of room and clean.
if you wanna sleep over a club you can go there, we have been there for 2 nights and we have slept with very loud music from lounge. Although the bath had a shower head fitting this was only fixed to the wall at the top of the bath: there was no mounting at head height- great for washing your feet!
Room was a little bit dated but exceptionally clean and very comfy bed.
Very very very noisy night! Informed us of a wedding on Friday night and to expect noise. Fine no problem. Sat night was horrendous. Group of about 6 lads shouting, play fighting etc outside room. No reception on to help. Complained to hotel and just got fobbed off. BEWARE!!! This hotel will not give good customer care!
Good position, staff friendly and tried to be helpful.
Access to bedrooms up and down several stairs but no lift. Wardrobe with keyholes but no key or handle with which to open it. We had to use a hanger or car key. Room stiflingly hot. Shower not working so had to use the shower in the next bedroom. Apparently staff knew the shower did not work in that room so should not have used it as there were lots of empty rooms. We entertained family for lunch so six of us ate. Two had salmon with a crab risotto. The risotto tasted awful and another table sent theirs back twice. After complaining the price of the two salmon dishes were taken off but very reluctantly. No management to be seen and only a young lady at reception who was not sure how to handle things. Extremely disappointing.
Attentive, helpful staff. Good decore in communal areas. Great food. Great value for money.
Bedrooms a little tired.
friendlyness of the staff
the access 'track' down to the hotel carpark entrance. Missed it first time as I thought it was the path down to the church.
