We stayed for three days and nights and we had such a wonderful time. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, service was quick, meals and hospitality were excellent. This lovely hotel comes highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived the lovely receptionist Gemma made us feel so welcome. The room was a good size and the bed comfy, with a good shower in the bathroom. We did not have an evening meal at the hotel, but the menu was impressive & the prices good, other people were having food and it looked very nice. Breakfast was lovely, again with friendly staff and a brilliant selection to eat. So impressed that we booked another weekend there before we left.

The staff are very welcoming and the hotel has a warm, homely feel. I booked a family room and when I arrived found that I had a lovely double room with ensuite connecting to my son's room - another twin bedded room with ensuite. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which I would recommend. The hotel is ideally located for a trip to the island, literally just over the Brittania Bridge. Although it is very close to the A55 the hotel was very peaceful, there was no traffic noise. I would definately recommend a stay here.

There was only one single coat hook in the room, cleanliness was not good; floors were not cleaned during the stay . poor!

I have stayed before and found the place to be of a reasonable standard, which reflected good value. On this occasion unfortunately the first room I was allocated had a “problem with the drains” so I was moved, also there was a power cut, obviously not the fault of the facility. However we were offered a restricted menu, which was a positive. Unfortunately no electricity, no heating, it became uncomfortable as it was a cold miserable evening and did not wish to stay at the bar. The following morning the power had returned, unfortunately not soon enough to heat the water to take a shower or bath. On checking out I would have thought that a small gesture would have gone a long way towards encouraging a return, sadly not.

Exellent place to stay. Staff very helpful Room comfortable and spotlessly clean. Food very good - huge portions. Perfect location for touring Anglsey and North Wales. We stayed at the hotel as it is midway between our two daughters and would definetly stay again.

Country location and layout good

Difficult to find even with gps did not seem to know your location, kept sending us to church street which was industrail area approx 1 mile away.need something to take this error away?

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly. A lot of confusion over breakfast.

I was only there one night so it would be unfair to comment on restaurant etc but breakfast was fantastic and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didn't like about Carreg Mon except I felt the bedrooms and bathroom were a bit tired and could certainly do with a facelift (Room 425 bathroom)

Ideal location for our needs. Excellent friendly staff. Nice rooms.
