Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.
The bedroom was smellt of damp
it had a very home like feel to it. it was welcoming from the staff and the food was great. great night sleep and very comfy. most impressive part of the hotel would be cleanliness for me.
wifi wasnt working and it was a must for me and my partner, being one of the reasons we chose them. service didnt seem to have a set organisation at dinner although we was served well, i could see it easily becoming unorganised if it was busier and also looks a little unprofessional.
The fact that I could eat well without leaving the hotel. The friendliness of the staff.
I found it difficult to locate the driveway to the hotel at first. My starter didn't include all the elements listed on the menu and was overpriced.
Location and the food.
There was nothing we didnt like.
Good Staff, helpful
Poor standard or room, needs to be refitted ASAP
very pleasant staff. Great restuarant.
Distance from reception to room .Too many steps to carry luggage.
Friendliness of staff; good food
room food service
Everything was great lovely hotel helpful staff
location good staff good food good bar price of drinks would stop again if in bigger room
toilet to close to wall bedroom small large set off draws to close to bed kettle to big for shelf bedroom right back off hotel to many stairs
Friendly staff Décor of Bar & restaurant Lovely soft white towels
Room could do with updating Lighting not sufficient - no lamps only ceiling light and light over bed Tea making facility not very user friendly as situated on the wall at eye level !
Liked the updated ground floor with bar, dining area and light bright reception.
Our room was quite worn and in need of redecorating/refurbishing, however, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom extremely clean.
Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms. Basic but comfortable.
One guest on our floor could not shut a door without a huge slam which woke us at night and early morning, but not hotels fault some guests are imbeciles.
The hotel was in a fantastic location for walking. The evening meal we ate in the hotel was excellent. The manager chatted to us and seemed to be genuinely interested in our views of the hotel. We were happy to see a well stocked bar as we thought we were in the middle of nowhere, but we were 5/10 mins away from the village. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was well worth the £5, and the hotel staff were happy for us to tweak our breakfast. Staff were attentive and helpful when we asked about local walks. We will definitely be visiting again.
The bathroom in the room was a little outdated and the manager said that they are all in the process of refitting. My only gripe was that people who were up early to go walking didn't seem to stop their bedroom doors from slamming so we were up early from the noise.Plus the bar did close at 11 which we were surprised at as residents were quietly chatting in the bar area having a seemingly good time, but apparently this is due to rooms being above the bar. Perhaps that can be looked into changing to 12, after all we were on holiday!
Friendly staff Modern decor main areas Great breakfast
Bedroom mediocre and bathroom smelly Reported this twice bit no effort to rectify Space where extract should be covered in dust and mould on tiles
Location is lovely. Food is delicious and of a very high standard.
The location of some of the rooms entails a trek including lot of stairways. Try to stipulate your needs if you cannot negotiate these easily.
Breakfast and service was great. Lovely location. Staff were good informative helpful.
The food &surroundings
The room was a bit noisy with an humming sound coming from the air conditioning or heating
Location, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Noisy, walls were thin. Ensuite a bit dated.
Small pokey room, wafer thin walls and bathroom had a big pipe boxing right were u would stand to use toilet.
Food / Staff / Location for exploring North Wales / Price / Best hotel towels ever!
The many steps from Reception & Bar to room / Room dated and in need of upgrade / Noise from railway / Dreadful WiFi
The hotel is in a lovely situation, both from a convenience point of view (we were on route from Holyhead) and a lovely spot in itself (5 minute stroll to waters edge) The food was excellent and service was generally good
The room was only ok- quite small, though absolutely spotless.
Great place to stay, Great weather love the walk to the river enjoyed the old cars that turned up 1 night, the food was some of the Best I had whilst on holiday that week enjoyed breakfast & my evening meal was fantastic no other place came close with there food & service THANKS.
