Location and warmth of hotel
central heating a little noisy and bathroom a little dated.
I asked if i could possible have best room available as fir;st time myself and partner had been away and it was his birthday treat, they upgraded us to the Bridal suite. food was amazing, and staff were incredibly helpful. would would stay again and recommend to others. also grounds were lovely.
room was a little warm, but it was unseasonably warm at the time, and cleaners where very noisy in the morning.
very clean Comfortable Friendly staff Close to Bangor & the mountains
Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.
A bit run down and a bit of a rabbit warren. Expensive for the quality of room if you compare this hotel to Ibis or Travelodge which are similarly priced.
Plenty of car park spaces
nice area, and friendly staff. good size of room and clean.
if you wanna sleep over a club you can go there, we have been there for 2 nights and we have slept with very loud music from lounge. Although the bath had a shower head fitting this was only fixed to the wall at the top of the bath: there was no mounting at head height- great for washing your feet!
Room was a little bit dated but exceptionally clean and very comfy bed.
Very very very noisy night! Informed us of a wedding on Friday night and to expect noise. Fine no problem. Sat night was horrendous. Group of about 6 lads shouting, play fighting etc outside room. No reception on to help. Complained to hotel and just got fobbed off. BEWARE!!! This hotel will not give good customer care!
Good position, staff friendly and tried to be helpful.
Access to bedrooms up and down several stairs but no lift. Wardrobe with keyholes but no key or handle with which to open it. We had to use a hanger or car key. Room stiflingly hot. Shower not working so had to use the shower in the next bedroom. Apparently staff knew the shower did not work in that room so should not have used it as there were lots of empty rooms. We entertained family for lunch so six of us ate. Two had salmon with a crab risotto. The risotto tasted awful and another table sent theirs back twice. After complaining the price of the two salmon dishes were taken off but very reluctantly. No management to be seen and only a young lady at reception who was not sure how to handle things. Extremely disappointing.
Attentive, helpful staff. Good decore in communal areas. Great food. Great value for money.
Bedrooms a little tired.
friendlyness of the staff
the access 'track' down to the hotel carpark entrance. Missed it first time as I thought it was the path down to the church.
We both liked the location . It was value for money we would live to go back
Friendly staff - good food - good atmosphere in bar area Chef could not do too much for us, even giving us his recipe for his risotto
Infrequent Internet reception
We requested assistance twice and the staff could not have done more to help
The food and staff were excellent. The location was very convenient but I can see why some people had problems finding it. (Immediately over the bridge take the first slip road and turn left at the T junction not right as instructed by many a satnav).
Our rooms were up (and down!) several sets of stairs which, with suitcases, was a bit of a problem for my wife who has some hip and knee problems
Stayed just one night with a group of motorcyclists on tour in Wales. Made us feel very welcome. Ample parking off road. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Rooms clean and tidy. Nice restaurant and bar. Excellent - Recommended
Wifi was not working properly during our stay..
Selection of breakfast menu
Whilst there our stay coincided with bonfire night the locals were more important than the residents the food on offer was poor no restaurant facility for residents we weren't even informed that the restaurant would be closed. We ended up having to walk into the village and eat at a local pub, this was unacceptable.
The room and bed were excellent! We slept really well in a king size poster bed and the place was quiet and peaceful.
No wifi - due to the weather and location. We had to go to a nearby pub for wifi and had dinner there - so all in all not bad. But it's a shame that staff at the hotel don't have wifi either...
The location was spot on more me. Peace & Quiet room as I request. Great staff. Great place. I loved it.
Warmth, welcome ,parking, Staff .
Just the lack of shelf in bathroom in 'Llew' ! Reception promised to rectify .
The hotel is in a good location just by Britannia Bridge. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.
Electronic key cards - four times in two days we were locked out of our room and had to have the card uploaded. The main reception and bar/dining room have had a facelift, hopefully the bedrooms will be next.
Great staff and service.
No wifi as advertised. Small problem with leaking shower screen.
Staff and food was excellent
Poor wifi and no measures to deal with power cut
Bar closed at midnight
Staff all friendly
