With a convenient location and easy access to the region’s major roads, this 3-star hotel offers great facilities and comfortable accommodation in 145 well-appointed, en suite rooms.

Just outside Bournemouth’s main town centre, the hotel’s close proximity to the A338 makes it a convenient base, whatever your reason for visiting the area. All that this lively seaside resort has to offer is within easy reach, including all of the town’s shops and the beaches.

Corporate guests can use the hotel’s business work station and Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in all of the public areas at an additional cost. The Carrington House Hotel is Bournemouth’s largest conference and banqueting hotel, with a choice of air conditioned rooms for up to 600 guests. The other great facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, children’s play areas and Mortimer’s restaurant.

Mortimer's Restaurant offers wide choice of English and French cuisine including mouth watering vegetarian dishes. Compliment your meal with one of the wines from our extensive wine list.

Room information

All our rooms are en-suite and offer all the facilities that one would expect to find in your room: colour TV with satellite channels, courtesy tray to make your own tea & coffee, hairdryer, trouser press, direct telephone and not forgetting those famous Forestdale ducks in the bathroom.

Rate includes use of the indoor heated swimming pool.

Situated just outside the main town centre, its location offers easy access to the main A338, travel interchange, beaches and shops.

Spacious family room. Children enjoyed the swimming pool. Good quiet location with pleasant 10-15 min walk through Boscombe Gardens to beach.

Good swimming pool

At the swinning pool the door to male changing was stuck shut so I had
to use the ladies, Thankfully they didn't mind

The breakfast was very good

Room was ok but access to room 12 was poor.Bathroom especially the

We enjoyed the cleanliness and good quality food available.

It would have been nice to have had tablecloths on the tables for our evening meals ,instead of just the same as in the morning for breakfast.

the hotel was awesome...lots of things to keep kids busy and the atmosphere was relaxed enough to be able to just chill in the lounge..staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were clean and comfy..kids did not want to leave ...we will be back in 2 weeks !!!

The complimentary iced water and squash available in the lobby

the shower would not turn off so tap dripping constantly

Lovely size room, clean with helpful staff who even went out of their way to supply milk free of charge for our youngest before bedtime after we had forgotten it. Good sized soft play area for the children and a really nice pool too.

Far too hot and stuffy in the corridoors and rooms. Air conditioning needed, and this was on a mild day, hate to think what its like on a hot day.

Long walk to our room from reception.Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not a huge selection of hot food and expected waitress service for teas and coffees.

I appreciate its nearness to the coastline in Bournemouth and the quiet surrounding of its neighbourhood.

Apparently our 4-people room was placed near something in the hotel that made noise. We could sleep properly, however.
