Food Cleanliness lack of Apathetic staff Meals not provided as promised ie xmas platter dirty tired room
It was great to use the good-sized swimming pool early morning before the very good buffet breakfast, both hot and cold dishes. The weather was extremely cold, but the hotel was so warm and cosy everywhere. We even had to turn our room radiator down! The room faced the street but was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep. Staff were very friendly.
Loved the location. It allowed us to explore a lot of interesting places both on foot and by car. This was our first Christmas away from home and it will be well remembered :)
The music at the bar was much too loud and lasted 24/7. Unfortunately our room was just over the bar so we could 'enjoy' the disco and wide Christmas sons selection all through the night :(
The internet connection is terrible
Receptionist Eva who very helpful in arranging for our room to be changed due to it being too small, no heating and the windows would not close
The refurbished rooms are too small. Security was poor - a fire door at the side of the hotel was left open. A guest informed us that his car had been broken into on the Saturday night - he and his wife were very upset. Smokers were standing outside the entrance to the hotel and this is not a very good welcome. The standard of food and service in the restaurant is poor compared to what we have been used to for the last three years.
Good location with friendly helpful staff nice breakfast at a reasonable cost
To rooms were dated and not the cleanest corridors very smelly of damp
Went down to Bournemouth for a night out with friends and none of us could believe how cheap the accommodation was. Yes the hotel was a bit faded around the edges, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful.
The breakfast was a little tired and had been kept warm a little too long, but for the money we paid, it would be totally unfair to have a gripe.
The reception were helpful and friendly.Nice room was warm and comfy
Could do with a freshen up with a lick of paint
Location Breakfast Price
insufficient car parking space
Being a smoker, even I did not like the enterance surrounded with cig. butts
Bar snacks very good and for a Hotel very cheap. Should I suggest increase price of dinner and upgrade 10% Thank you very much.
Good value at short notice with everything you need. Great breakfast too. Room was good with adequate shower and tea/coffee etc. Comfy bed.
For the price of the room and breakfast, it was very good value. The decoration and General cleanliness could be better. No fault of the hotel, but there was a large group of Christmas party goers, who were very loud, Shouting and singing till 0630. Security did track them down for us.
Rooms very creaky. Sounded like the person above us was moving furniture and walking around all night !! We could hear it all !
Room 412 much to hot no window to hot to sleep apart from that lovely and clean
good food/room and very pleasant staff ,been before & will certainly return again as have friends in Bournmouth
check out is too early
Price and size of room
Shower was suspect
Excellent value for money. Comfortable and quiet. Three course evening meal for £10! Décor in newly refurbished room excellent
The room was clean.
The staff were so unhelpful, refusing to even order a taxi. The shower had no power. I had to park next to a pile of soiled mattresses and beds. The breakfast was inedible. In all there was not much I liked
Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy
Quiet good pasrking. Secure clean
Loads of doors and corridors to get to the room
Cheap Recently renovated Free Wifi
it was a bit too warm with only a fan to move around the hot air
Shabby decor, broken lamp shade, torn wallpaper, shabby bathroom fittings, low grade breakfast.
Good location, free parking in the hotel and in the street, food was good, buffet meals service eat as much or as little as you like, large function rooms with "Wooden Floors". Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Large Room with one double bed and one single.
Noisy fan in the bathroom. Noise from Parties in function rooms at night (too much bass) probably from ventilation duct passing through my room. Some parts of the hotel look a bit worn out but it looks like they are undergoing gradual refurbishment. Very low water pressure unable to take shower, had to have a bath instead.
bed comfy staff lovely lots of breakfast
generally a bit run down woken by false alarm fire at 730am on sunday gala meal was not special enough for £22 - should at least incl drink
Wall paper peeling off walls Tired looking rooms
