Room was very pleasant though very warm. Glad a fan was in the room. Breakfast was a bit chaotic on first morning but better on the second day.
Talkin lift but that was all.
Dusty from plaster board and dust sheets from a room being renovated on our floor Parking a shambles needs organising Rooms tired, looked 1970's style Breakfast really poor, basically value bacon, sausages and beans or toast, only they had run out of bread, plus vat of granulated coffee Staff rude and seemingly untrained but to be fair there was not much they could do hotel needed completely renovating not just one room on our floor Basically for less money I could have stayed at a premier inn or travel lodge and had basic but clean rooms.
Value for money and friendliness of staff.
Unhappy that pets are allowed in rooms.
≫Staff were friendly. ≫Price was great @ £25/ night. ≫Free Swimming Pool. ≫Location. ≫Ambassador Suit was spot on for an event. ≫Would Recommend. ≫Negotiate rates for drinks!
≫A room with no windows - Not good enough for Asthma sufferer. ≫Could not tell if it was day or night. Only complaint. Poor sleep based only on no windows.
Car parking and wifi complimentary.
The whole property badly needs a refurbishing. Old carpets, old beds, scruffy wallpaper and paint. Don't even get me started on the balcony!!! Room access awkward due to property being extended and access with luggage not bring considered. Aldo seems thus hotel is in the middle of a Red Light Area!!!!!
convenient position for what we paid it was good value for money, had all the required facilities for an overnight stop.( catching early ferry ) and would return again
parking difficult, needs more area to be made hardstanding
The staff were very helpful & polite.
The whole hotel is in bad need of refurbishment, it is tired looking and old! The shower just trickled out, you may as well be standing under a slow running tap, and the temperature was almost impossible to control. Had the £10.00 buffet 3 course meal in the evening, yes £10!! that should have told me something, which was pretty poor, They should increase the price to say £30.00 and serve better quality and variety!!
We had a family room which was nice and big. it had a double, single and bunk beds. We had booked a twin room. The beds were very comfortable and the room although dated was very clean. The breakfast and evening meal was very good, well cooked and hot.
Beware the size of room, 1st room was tiny little more than a single, no wardrobe or drawers for clothes. no more than 10 sq. Could'nt pass each other on any side of bed. Room booked on internet said 22 sq m. when complained we were moved to family room.
staff were friendly
too hot in rooms. a bit like a maze to find our room.needed updating and decorating .but okay for a stop over
central receptions verty friendly
was all good really good food , helpful staff ,
parking was a bit hard , spaces not good especially during the day when other people were allowed to use the car park , couldn't park at all on some occasions . television was not very good , hard to use
Breakfast very good ,Bed comfortable, Decor and cleanlyness Was just not up to standared, We did apprecate being able to have our small dog with us Very good rooms for large venues
We accept that building work in progress but but builders in work clothes useing recreation area and seating, not acceptable. parking was stress full, large chips in the bath holes in the doors tiles chipped, dust & cobwebs on fittings
Staff where very kind and helpful. Facilities were excellent and half board evening meal and breakfast were superb! Thankyou to all whom made our stay memerabol and we shall be back!
peeling wallpaper on walls and ceiling tv was fixed in corner of a wall so difficult to view Well overdue some decoration/updating Lack of staff at breakfast
The staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to stay again soon .
The only thing was. Just for a bigger range of food on the evening meal. There isn't anything i can complain on.
lumpy bed, odd shaped mattress, felt like back was bent the wrong way
Quiet road, clean linen, reasonably comfortable bed. Reasonably clean room.
Decor in public areas disgraceful. Two lifts with long corridors between, to access 3rd floor. Shower not working. Water not very hot. Breakfast poor, dreadful sausages, no teapot unless you asked. Limited car parking tho can park on road.
Nice clean large room with a balcony staff were very friendly free tea and coffee in bar area even though we had people that werent paying guests they were still allowed the tea and coffee breakfast was excellent. All you can eat breakfast buffet. Fry up was cooked to perfection. Good choice of drinks with breakfast good price food and drink in the bar swimming pool clean and well maintained childrens play are clean and well kept cannot fault at all! Will stay again!
