The location was very good for moveing around the london area staff are all ways helpfull would recommend to all my friends.
sheared bath facilitys.
Guesthouse is very close to westfield and for the tube station. Justin was very kind and ladies were very friendly.
Clean comfortable self help breakfast no fuss tea and coffee making facilitiy in room late check out.
No warm cooked breakfast; no warm milk; would have liked complimentary biscuits; heater in bathroom didnt work(but minor).
The room was quite big and warm . there's a pub downstairs. There's cereal and fruit in te morning from 6am
There was loud music but it is a pub after all.
Last minute booking worked well
Great for the circumstances
Although the hotel is in the third zone of London, the transportation is quite convenient. 10minutes walk will get to the hotel from underground station. And it is lovely that the hotel serve free milk, juice, fruit and cereal in the morning.
The wifi is too slow.
Adequate bed in small ensuite room for one night Good tv Close to train station - convenient
Loud music till 2am(put this down to it being nye) When we arrived our room wasn't ready even though it was 5pm
The fact that it is a pub hotel in London made me want to stay at Cart and Horses. The staff was friendly and the room was good.
Shower no pressure Room had previous smoking use Drainage smells
found parking on street, room clean , had desk, big tv, worked for me , yes I would stay again, close to train station = train noise, if light sleeper take note, was not a problem to me
quite noisy, trains, I sleep well so did not effect me but important to know if you don't like noise
The location was excelent for me. There is direct coach from Stanstead airport and direct subway train to O2 Arena. The place was clean and they had breakfeast(cereals, fruit, orange juice), even if the werent mentioned on my receipt.
Room was clean and relatively cheap. 3-4 minute walk from Stratford station and underground. Lots of shops and eateries nearby.
Noisiest place I've ever stayed. Trains, live rock bands until 2am, drunken guests, pub visitors smoking outside and yelling until early hours and a digger in back garden all afternoon when I tried to grab a nap. Shared toilet and shower room a disaster. Couldn't get a shower after numerous attempts as constantly in use and if lucky enough to get to shared toilet then nowhere to wash ones hands. Could be a nice place if room had sink and noise was dealt with a little. Take earplugs, wet wipes, sleeping pills and a commode. Owners and staff were very friendly though. Sorry to be negative but really difficult stay.
it is a very good hotel and the position is close to the subway DLR. I was there during the WTM at Excel and the place was very convenient. If you travel from Stansted Airport there is the shuttle bus very close. the only thing is that the hotel is up to a bar and they play music till midnight. On friday night I think longer but I am not sure.
Staff polite place nice and clean had a good time.
the pub history and get a drink till 2am and not far to get to bed
noisey out side window at 3am
Clean friendly and good pub. Walking distance to Stratford Centre and rail connections.
staff was very nice, room was clean, breakfast was good enough
I should've checked this before, so i can't blame anybody but myself. but our room was right next to a railway. which made sleeping a little difficult.
Everything was perfect. Especially, the owner of the hotel and pub was very helpful. I had to work till morning. The owner provided me his personal computer and internet connection. He waited for me to finish my job till morning.
Everything especially night music
Bathrooms and no water to drink
paying for parking, in there private car park
The owners are friendly and paid special attention to my requests. I felt at home and a table was set up in my room to allow me to work in good conditions. The location is great, within walking distance to the train/tube station and the huge and modern Westfield mall - perfect for high street shopping, actually a lot more convenient and comfortable for shopping than Oxford street.
Room was clean, as we're the facilities and the check out was a very good time of day.
Wet room facilities had two showers but no separate curtains which seemed a little odd. Check in was at 4, arrived at 15:55 only to be told the boss wasn't in and that we needed to wait, we had to wait 30 minutes.
Room was clean Wi Fi worked well Breakfast was satisfactory Close to train station Walking distance to many shops and take aways
Unfortunately it was too close to the train station and I didnt get much sleep as a result of this. My room was at the back of the building and over looking the train line and things in my room shook as a result of the incoming trains. I regret not asking for my room to be switched. It was also very warm in the room so I had to keep the window open all night which meant that the noise from outside was made worse.
