Fantastic location, where you feel very welcome by the hostess. Great breakfast. Very good pubs and coffee nearby.

May be a little bit of TLC to the plumbing....

central setting, lovely gardens, decent friendly pub up the road (though takes some finding) Good breakfast and friendly owners. Comfortable room.

Pricey. Garden suite has skylight which would benefit from having a blind. Awoke extremely early due to sunlight pouring in.

Very comfortable room, pleasantly furnished. Beautiful gardens and very interesting decor around the house.

Would have appreciated wi-fi connection, but it is not the end of the world when you are in such a tranquil setting.

Very friendly welcome, lovely position and gardens

A little expensive, not enough hot water for the garden room bath.

Situated in a nice location with very pretty gardens. Breakfast was very good.

The room was small and not very practical if you were to stay for more than one night.

Lovely stay with our whole family over the weekend. We had the garden suite which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast nice and the staff very accommodating. Location was good, easy access to all the Peak District attractions. A very enjoyable stay.

Only improvement would be hand towel rails in the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful hosts with plenty of advice about their gardens and the locality as well as useful tips on how to avoid the traffic when going to nearby Chatsworth House. Bonsall is a lovely location with plenty to explore on foot - which we did - as is nearby Matlock Bath. Recomended.

There was really nothing to dislike !!!

Great location, good breakfast, 1st class facilities - the 'Indian sub-continent travel memorabilia' decoration is slightly quirky and all the better for that. Gorgeous gardens. Oh and Saturday night at the Barley Mow is to be recommended too.

Alesia was lovely, she couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. She really does care about the personal touch. The breakfast was fabulous with fresh pineapple grapes and blue berries, fresh bread and a lovely fry up.

The only thing we didn't like was the price but it is worth it for such a lovely place to stay. They only cater for 3 luxury rooms hence the lovely caring touch.

Good location. We had the India suite which has a nice large bathroom. Friendly and helpful owners. Good breakfast.

Just a small disappointment that when we went to the local pub specifically recommended by landlady, we learned they didn't serve food that night. But only a minor point.
