Nice room. Clean Room. Nice white Bed Sheets Nice White Towels ( 3 each ) Tea & coffee New TV good reception
Room little noisy, could hear loud talking in next room. Breakfast did not start until 10am ( too late for us ) New owner only been in 2 months.
Staff welcome, room size and facilities were good. Room was very newly decorated and had not been used since that was done, which probably explained the difficulties with heating not being sorted out yet.
The thermostatically controlled radiator did not heat up. The wifi signal only poorly reached our room and the speed of the wifi was poor. The food was at the lower end of standard pub food. Chilli con carne seemed to be a bland meat sauce without any kidney beans or evidence of tomato or chilli. Chicken pie was obviously bought in and nothing special. Noise from road is noticeable.
They did arrange the Cashmoor House which was a great stay.
We arrived on the night and it was all dark. When we got there it was told the hotel was closed however they did not email to inform a cancellation.
My son and his partner and their baby arrived very late at night after their car broke down. The staff stayed up late to welcome them and settle them in and even took them to Bournemouth to arrange a car hire
Bed was very comfortable , but pillows were foam, which spoilt the effect of total comfort. Feather pillows next time would be ideal
Kitchen facilities were out of use temporarily
Great staff, lovely nicely decorated, clean and spacious room with kettle and TV. Great shower - perfect temperature every time, no messing about. Local ale and cider in the bar. Patron and staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating without being in your face.
Found it difficult to get a decent breakfast in the area between 10am and midday, especially on Sunday, and especially for a veggie Husband. We were offered breakfast from 7.30am to 8.30am at the Cashmoor Inn, so if you're an early riser you'll be fine.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quality bed linen & towels Tasty breakfast & variety of evening menu choice Cleanliness
cleanliness central for our needs-Dorset Steam Show. use of a fridge. Host and family pleasant
Apart from wardrobe, no furniture in bedroom. No bedside tables, lamps, mirrors, pictures on walls, chairs to sit on.or windowsills. Same in adjoining bath room, no surface space at all. Kitchen closed half way through stay.
friendly, helpful staff very nice setting modern, comfortable facilities
Friendly staff, very good food
£45 a night a bit high
The staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious. The attentiveness of the landlord, who has recently taken over the premises. Plenty of parking. Informal relaxed atmosphere.
The traffic noise, which is inevitable as the Inn is on a main road.
The cottage was really nice and the owner was charming
An excellent country pub with friendly landlord and staff. Evening meal was good and breakfast was excellent. Altogether a pleasant experience and highly recommended.
Some may not like the isolation but for a couple of nights it's peaceful and relaxing.
clean and friendly
