I did enjoy my whole visit in both hotel and restaurant! I enjoyed the high class food, amazing breakfast as well with homemade sauces, something you don't really get in posh hotels. I loved the deco and room 8 is just amazing!!
Beautiful house, beautiful situation.Friendly and welcoming staff.
Carrying a suitcase up too many stairs.Very hard to make a cup of tea ie a cordless jug is needed.
spacious feel - good size rooms wonderful setting good breakfasts
eclectic mixture of modern and traditional wouldn't be everyone's taste floor boards were a little noisy under the carpets
Loved the country house hotel with modern interiors and style. Staff were great and the good was simply amazing!!
Friendly, personal welcome, Truly excellent cuisine Interesting decor Quiet room with good shower and comfortable bed Pleasent grounds Set in lovely countryside Some special touches which made this hotel stand out
Nothing of any consequence to say!
rooms of good size and comfort. Clean and big bathroom, at least in the family room. Soft towels. Great breakfast.
No Wifi ( although it is mentionned). No mobile network inside or outside; you have to walk up to 1 mile before you can use your cellphone.
Exelent location, friendly staff and a very comfortable bed.
Check in time 15:00...and they wouldnt budge at all on that!!
lovely hotel i would definitely recommend this place. i stayed here alone but i enjoyed the stay so much i am planning to take my wife here for a weekend break
no mobile phone connection and hotel wifi was flaky but could use landline (could be a big bonus for some)
A very nice place in a very nice area. Staff is very friendly and wants to make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. Fantastic dinner. Mobile network not working in the house itself, but outside, some problems with WiFi - but that fits well into the atmosphere of a quite place to relax.
Staff were friendly and welcoming Room was a good size Food was excellent
Convenience, nice location, great restaurant, relaxed atmosphere.
Rooms were pretty warm and could do with better ventilation. No separate shower.

Good size room with a nice bed. Bathroom good size with a good shower. Food good
Abit grey. food is very good but alittle on the pricey side
Very good service from staff. Also the owner is helpful in showing me information about the local area. The contemporary and stylish decoration. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The food was of very good quality. Tea and coffee in the room plus wrapped cake to consume.
The water supply system in the bathroom needs to look at. No major problem though.
Food was first rate!
Bathroom. Price in relation to facilities.
The staff were very good to us as we are both profoundly Deaf and this did not worry them when communicating with us. Food was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. We had a very relaxing time.
One little niggle, need somewhere to put our teabags, perhaps a small dish or saucer.
Everything First Class
No mobile signal
Location Clean room. Dinner good.
Decor a bit hit and miss, No wifi upstaires Beakfast well below average.+sauce bottle lids well manky, did not even risk using it.
Friendly reception. Spacious, comfortable room. Quality toiletries. Good food.
Walk in rain from dark car park.
Everything was lovely, Thanks
Very friendly welcome, good service and food and a comfortable well specced room. Couldn't fault it.
A very minor grumble but not the best range of beers and no draught ale available. And a sign to the hotel from the junction in the nearby village would be a good idea.
Loved the friendly staff, huge bed, special toiletries and excellent breakfast
We had a relaxing, enjoyable long weekend break at Hammet House. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and all very sweet with our toddler. The food in the restaurant and bar was very good, the public rooms nice and spacious.
Its not not a complaint in any way, but it would really nice to have a pool. I believe it may be something provided in the future, I hope so.
it was different, very comfortable, food was excellent and so were the staff.
overload of grey paint it was everywhere, needed features, a bit bland.
