All bedrooms at Castell Malgwyn Hotel have an elegant décor and a private bathroom with bathroom amenities. Guests can also enjoy tea and coffee making facilities in their room. There is a lounge and bar lounge for residents who can also sit by the fire in the library bar or relax on the terrace. Lily’s Restaurant serves fine dining and the chef uses fresh local produce whenever possible. There are nice walks through the woods, along the river or on the nearby coastal path. Very quiet - so far out of the mainstream that you can't even get a mobile 'phone signal. Good food - the kitchen staff do really try. Interior has been recently modernised but in sympathy with the building. One point to beware of - there's no night porter. Strange for a hotel that tries hard in other ways. If you're going to be out late then ask for a key to the front door, or you'll risk being stuck outside all night.
