Nice big rooms.nice location.
Wasn't in the Main hotel. Toilet brush was FILTHY with faeces. Springs could be felt through the bed; poor mattress.
Wow what a beautiful place Absolutely stunning and our suite was beautiful
Breakfast could have been better was ok but lacked personal service as well
Great bedroom, lovely breakfast
Wifi was weak, cobweb in the light shade over bed
Location Bar food
TV not working No long mirror No umbrella available to walk to car in the rain
Food from restaurant on that day was great!
Male waiter's service was poor. Wall is too thin and disturbed by next door and upstairs.
I loved the antiqueness of the hotel. It was near to Jaguar( the reason for our trip)
There wasn't anything that we didn't lke.
We had a truly wonderful one night stay in the state room for my 50th Birthday. The house and room were spectular with very fine furnishings. We were expecting the room to be a bit cold for this time of the year due to the pure size of the room which is huge! we were very much mistaken room temperature was perfect. What was amazing was we felt like we were the only guests in the hotel, so peacful and quiet. It was definately the best accomodation I have ever experienced.
The staff, the lady on reception was lovely. Free parking.
The dated decor. The hotel looked like it needed renovation especially walking in to reception.
lovely hotel. comfy beds, nice showers. lovely surroundings. Staff were friendly.
Food was a bit expensive for what it was and portions/servings etc was sometimes inconsistent in terms of size and quality...but I just put that down to quirkiness and it certainly wasn't bad enough to give these guys a bad review.
The appearance of the building is nice and the location is pretty good.
The bed was terrible. You get connected to wifi but there's absolutely no data coming in or going out. Literaly, there's no internet.
The room was amazing, with a huge four poster bed and a luxurious bathroom!! Set in beautiful surroundings, a wonderful few days, we both wished we could have stayed longer. The food was excellent and the service was really good too.
Couldn't believe our luck we paid £65 for our room and it was great lovely bathroom facility's great staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value and. Excellent Varity. Would definitely stay again
Very nice decor and building
Lady birds and flys in the corners of the window should have been cleaned before arrival
History of building displayed Facilities Good quality bathroom
Wafer thin stud work walls!! What happened to the sound proofing!
I was given a room that stank of cigarette smoke. When I asked for a different room I was advised nonchalantly that the hotel was fully booked and was left only with the option of demanding a full refund. I not only gained a refund on my room for that evening, which unfortunately meant I had to continue my journey home, but so displeased was I that I also gained refunds on my other bookings and will now make a huge effort to now avoid this hotel at all costs. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review and that of itself speaks volumes!
Lovely comfortable room really cosey!
The church bels next door!!good job didn't want. Lie in!!!!
The staff were most attentive especially, Jose, Morris and Sarah. Food was delicious, the chef accommodated my special request, all in all, the most pleasant experience. Highly recommended for foreigners visiting the UK
Our room was nice and had enough space, clean and we equipped. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also good.
For those that stays for more than one night - the location is not in the center, but is close to the airport which was good for us.
The food and service were excelent, beds were comfy.
Bathroom did not have an extraction fan
Very clean with good service
Food menu both quality and choice very poor. Meals are average at best very expensive for the quality recieved. Also bar traininng needed free pouring spirits and over ringing on the till
Comfy room/ nice clean facilities
Very noisy pipe work- every time up stairs went to toilet it rattled on for about an hour! They went a lot and got hardly any sleep! Receptionist working alone expected to answer phone and run reception at check out. Very unprofessional and upsetting to watch. I hate that greed with understaffing- so wrong and would stop me recommending
The castle is beatiful.
The radio in the dinning room and the Windows didn't close in the rooms.
