Food was very good, dined in the hotel and were very happy with price and quality. Waiters also very helpful and friendly. Castle Campbell was overpriced. At £105 a night for a double room the facilities were basic. There was a stain on the ceiling of the room from a leak that had not be restored. No fridge, no safe, nothing to set it apart. However, were very disappointed on bank holiday Monday to find breakfast had finished at 9. Breakfast at weekend is 9.30 ( which itself is far too early) checked with member of staff on Sunday who confirmed breakfast was at the same time, however, mOnday morning at 9.20 we wer told this was too late. Very Disappointed!!!! Alreay over priced and no cooked breakfast included. They had left cereal juice and toast for us. Not good enough. We were attending a wedding nearby and I guess thats how this hotel can charge so much., Not too much choice in teh vaccinity. Giving a fair for staff as the woman who told us we were too late for breakfast was un apologetic even though we had been told the time was 9.30 and the member of staff who had told us was seen in the back but did not come out to apologies.

The hotel staff were friendly, the room was lovely, but a little dated, ensuite could do with an update. One of the best breakfasts for a long time. This break was really worth the cost and would stay again.
