Castle Hotel  

Location is excellent and the food is well prepared. There is a feeling of 19th century Pickwick.

Excellent location, quiet, relaxing, comfy bed. Cosy ambience. Lovely choice of cooked breakfast. Staff were polite and friendly.

Unable to get wifi in the room we were in .

Location. Conwy is cool place for a few beers & a meal

It is an old hotel but very comfortable. The town of Conwy is pleasant. The restaurant is top notch.

Fabulous location with view of castle. Historic hotel, Luxurious decor, very atmospheric, trendy, sophisticated, excellent dining, helpful, efficient staff. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night,. We had huge bathroom with spa and view of castle. Short drive to fantastic Bodnant gardens. Free parking on site

Reception was very helpful. I had to use a breathing machine.

the food was a1 the food was first class the rooms were clean like all the hotel outside area was the best and with the hotel being hotel friendly we could not ask for more staff the best i will go back need to get special offers

we have been returning to the castle hotel for 10yrs because its position , comfort, food.

Lovely friendly hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Nice big, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

Dark room. Broken lights in room were not replaced despite informing staff shortly after check-in. Staff promised they would rectify this upon return. Condition of mattress cover was in poor condition i.e. ripped Cleanliness of inside of kettle questionable (dark stains) No slippers, toothbrushes/toothpaste provided. No paper coasters for upturned tumblers or glasses. General condition of upholstery/carpet in room looked tired and worn Expected more for the price. Have stayed in better rooms for similar price e.g. Hilton

Food & very helpful staff

Historic friendly hotel in town centre. A very individual place with some wonderful paintings in the restaurant. The bar/cafe were lively for a Tuesday evening. Restaurant serves good locally sourced food - excellent lamb. Room and bed were comfortable.

The heating was turned up a bit high, although comfortable in the room. The first floor of the hotel was air-less and had a slightly dusty odour. The reception staff were friendly but not very efficient and didn't seem to know exactly what they were doing at checkout.

Perfect location. Within walking distance to all the main attractions. Nice shopping on same street.

Parking was tricky - lot behind hotel had an extremely narrow alley entrance. But parking was free!

Clean, comfortable and traditionally stylish. Service and food were excellent. Our small dog was also made welcome.

Access to the car park is a little cramped.

every thing about the hotel was amazing, it is a truly 4 star hotel, we went to evening meal 1 hour early , no problem, the food was excellent, breadfast choises was excellent and 1st class, fantastic position in town centre,

both car parks were small and were full on arrival and had to park in a bad place to unpack car , we found a car park place after a couple of hours, and this was not a busy time of year in winter march 17th, so in summer where could you park ?,

Beds made up like tight bandages. Breakfast buffet sparse because popular items not even replenished by 9am! Would have at least expected to still be able to enjoy orange juice! But sadly, no...

the staff on reception were absolutely amazing when my colleague became ill; they could not have been more helpful and considerate. They dealt with the situation quickly and with no fuss, and were very kind to my colleague.

they could serve better coffee: the cappucino was horrible.
