I have visited this hotel twice within 2 weekends with different groups of family / friends. The staff are very helpful and accommodating, and went the extra mile to ensure that all our needs were met. Great breakfast, and good value for money.

Church bells can be a problem if you are a light sleeper - but they were not an issue for me.

The staff were very welcoming and are very keen to help and ensure you have a good stay, my partner and I had a lovely stay and will be returning when we are next inte area.

The bathroom was a little dated, a better shower unit would improve this I feel.

Food was lovely . Would stay hear again very nice stay .. Staff couldn't do enought for you ...

Recommend eating in the Bar/restaurant . Very nice Scotch egg starter and Lamb Rump main

Location was excellent and hotel was really easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was a good size and well appointed - bed was very comfy. Breakfast was really good - plenty choice and a good time frame.

Insufficient car parking space, but recognising that it is a listed building, and the car park across from the hotel is handy. Would be better if the hotel could come to some arrangement with Wiltshire Council though, to ease any inconvenience

The whole stay was lovely, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the bar was good fun and the food was good. We stayed in a lovely room and we were very impressed!

Food was good. But my unit for a budget-friendly hotel was lovely and clean and very comfortable. I would not hesitate in recommending.

The staff are excellent, the breakfast and evening meal were excellent.Had two log fires in the bar very nice.My room was small but ok for one person,and nice and warm with a T.V.Very near the shops which was good.

Hotel parking was limited and could not be reserved. We parked ok in March but there could be a problem in busier periods. Public off street parking very close to hotel.

The staff and hotel were excellent. We were wanting a quiet weekend away in nice surroundings and good service. Would recommend the castle to family and friends.
