We were given a Premium room, which was located at the front of the hotel, with a small balcony that we could stand out on and admire the view of the main high street and the edge of the Castle. The location (centre of Windsor), the friendliness & helpfulness of the receptionists, the size and style of the room and the added bonus of free parking for hotel guests.

We left our room for about an hour to get a coffee in a local shop! On returning there were 8 people, who were unknown to us, in our room. There was no introduction or reason given they just left. We reported this to reception but received no appology from management or explanation. Our business is a security company and this fly's in the face of our ethos. But the hotel does print a disclaimer against loss of personal effects which I must warn them will fail in any claim if they did not take reasonable care to secure rooms. Also the hotel is over valued. Cleanliness is cosmetic, what you normally use is clean but the accumilated dust is not welcome. I have never paid £15 for a breakfast meal in my life and do not intend to start now. Because of the lack of enthusiasm and reaction by staff I have informed my directors and senior management that subsistance allowances will not be paid if the source is from any of this hotels group as I consider it not the best way of spending money.

Second time round, I trust that you will understand that this particular visit was excelent, and both my wife and I enjoyed our time at the said hotel immensily. Excelent, to say the least. From the view of my wife and I, there are no faults. Our regards to all staff who provided a service beyond what we expect of a normal hotel team - "Second to None" Excelent!

I originally booked one night but wanted the room in the day to get ready for my wedding over the road. I was told that I could not be guaranteed early check in (even an hour) so had to book the night before too, which I had no need for. I couldn't understand why this was such a problem and it negatively impacted my stay.

Its close proximity to Heathrow airport, the castle, restaurants and shopping. The staff were very courteous and efficient. The rooms were clean and the restaurant had a variety of chose foods. The bed was uncomfortable and the hot water took a while in the wash basin.

I booked this as a last minute surprise getaway break for my husbands birthday & we had a fabulous time. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, our room was really lovely decorated & very clean. There was an ice bucket waiting in the room just as I had requested on time of booking. The room also contained a mini fridge with some bottles of complimentary water in (which was restocked when the room was cleaned). Our room overlooked the high street & was quiet picturesque especially at night. We could also see Windsor Castle from our room. Being on the high street didn't mean our room was noisy because it had secondary glazing so infact was very quiet & relaxing. The breakfast was a hot & cold buffet there was plenty too choose from & it was all cooked very well. The changing of the guards passed right by the front of the hotel so you could sit in the lounge with a coffee & watch the ceremony go past. The hotel is well located with lots of shops, bars & restaurants right on the doorstop. Windsor Castle is literally a stones throw away also. It was a very relaxing stay! :-) I found our hotel room a bit hot & couldn't work out the air conditioning but found a fan in the wardrobe so used that to cool room down

I needed a Hotel within easy walking distance to Windsor Castle with good facilities, on site parking that represented good value. This Hotel met the criterior and proved an excellent choice. Easy access to castle, great parking, comfortable and spacious room and polite, courteous staff. Next time in Windsor I would stay there again.

The main purpose of our stay was to visit the castle. because we had elderly friends with us, walking distance to the castle was an important factor being only a few minutes walk away. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The booking website didn't offer meals inclusive so we had to pay extra, but found the evening meal to be fairly priced although quality and not quantity seems to be the hotel's policy so my larger appetite was only just satisfied but the food was very nice. Breakfast was rather expensive, but all you can eat with a good choice of cooked buffet english breakfast, cereals, rolls, toast, fruit etc etc. If you can book meals included (or at least breakfast) I would recommend doing that, as I understand it would have been cheaper

Great location and free parking facilities Steep steps into reception from car park which is not good when you have luggage. Pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, when I requested fuller pillows I had 2 flat pillows put in a pillowcase delivered to my room so I went out and purchased 2 comfortable pillows.
