A great hotel. Very classic english house, cosy and comfortable accomodations. Family owned with a silver service from the staff. A fee private park, so rare also has to be mentioned. A very recommended place to stay for visiting Canterbury. Nothing

Staff were very friendly. We had a ground floor room as requested which was very large and slept 4, so the two of us had lots of space. Good breakfast. Plenty of food and staff were very happy to cook whatever variation of breakfast was requested.

The on site parking Friendley helpful staff Big rooms Lovely bathroom Bar reasonably priced Our room was on the ground floor which was nice but very noisy in the morning, as everyone had to pass by us.

We really appreciated the closeness of the hotel to the city centre. We thought the hotel was extremely comfortable and ideal f or a city break.

Like the idea for showing which towels need changing each day. Like so much of the original building is still visible. Like the details of the building's history in the welcome pack. Car park rather small and cramped - watched one driver have to reverse out blind onto the road - Sunday morning so quiet but risky move.

Delightful old historic house. We stayed in a very quaint room in the old stable block. Lots of character. Nice ensuite with a large shower. Excellent position to explore all the old parts of Canterbury. Easy parking. Nice breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money. The heating hadn't been on and so the room was very cold and took a long time to warm up.

The location of the hotel, the decor, the staff were friendly and helpful have stayed before and would stay again. The room we had this time was opposite the breakfast room which was noisy in the morning no good if you wanted a lazy start as breakfast was from 7.30am

The location was perfect, the room was spacious, clean and warm. A good hearty well cooked breakfast was served in the morning.All the staff were friendly and helpful, if we travel there again we would definitely book there again. The only complaint was the bar - it seemed to take the bartender numerous trips backwards and forwards to produce one drink, and they did not have any brandy, which was a surprise.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Great position and good facilities - would definitely return! Shower pressure wasn't great but probably not the hotels fault - was always good and hot though!

Good location and like the bar for a night cap when we got in! Room a little on the small side, though no big deal as we were only staying 1 night. The shower was less powerful than I am used to

The service in this hotel was the best we have ever experienced, and we travel alot! All members of staff were professional and helpful - attentive to our every need, even anticipating the needs of our group. The hotel was delightful, full of character and the location just 5 minutes walk from the town center was ideal. The breakfast was generously proportioned and there was ample choice.
