Location was good for walking into the town center and breakfast was good quality.
Parking a problem even with the shopping complex over the road. It is very busy and difficult to find a space until the shops shut which is very late as there is a chip shop and a dominos.
Great location within a few minutes of the town. Very comfortable and spacious room with excellent facilities. Excellent service at breakfast with a very good range to choose from. Would certainly stay here again.
Limited parking within hotel grounds.
Breakfast friendly staff good sized bed
Very helpful and friendly staff, fabulous room, huge tasty breakfast. Location.
Close to the rail station. Friendly greeting.
The bedroom was very clean and warm. and the king size bed was comfortable. The on-suite bathroom was generally well equipped, and the water was piping hot, with adequate towels. In addition the breakfast was delicious with a range of choices, served by very friendly staff.
The room only had one drawer below a restricted hanging space. The curtains did not give adequate screening of street lights, and this was exacerbated by the position of the room mirror reflecting this external light. The soap container in the bathroom was secured to the wall and couldn't be utilised when in the bath.
Staff were excellent, good breakfast and handy for all town amenities. We were next to a busy road but the noise was minimal.
We were in room 16 which has a connecting door to what we assumed to be a staff room/store room. We were awoken at 7am on Saturday morning by staff who were shouting and banging doors intermittently for the next 2 hours. You expect some noise of doors closing but staff should be aware of guests and talk quietly.
Comfy bed, good flat screen TV, very clean, good breakfast. Staff helpful.
Staff were very nice, especially the morning staff. Breakfast was good. Room and all public areas in hotel spotlessly clean. Walking distance for town and castle and easy access by car to Leamington and surrounding areas. Lovely pub round the corner - The Punch Bowl.
Hugh bathroon but small shower Storage in room very limited - I appreciate that it maybe that most visits are short but we stayed 4 nights and more storage would have been welcomed. This however would not stop us staying here again.
Everything the staff were great and very helpful a great sleep And the extra room on family room for Kids is a great thing too very clean and very family friendly
Nice clean modern rooms with a nice remote controlled fan for hotter weather. Very close to the Centre and Warwick Castle. One member of staff in particular at Breakfast time was charming and very friendly. The Breakfast was also excellent!
Room was a bit small and shower was cramped & also wouldn't switch off properly. Car parking was tight, only room for around 7 cars!
Being on a main road, you can't have a window open overnight but aircin in room helps
The hotel had a lovely homely feel to it unlike the big chain hotels.
Not really a negative to the hotel but it was very difficult to obtain taxis may be the hotel could source some more local taxi companies.
Excellent location. Hotel kept spotless. Room big and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked to your individual specifications. Staff friendly and attentive.
Room fantastic plenty of room, the most amazing shower and bathroom, staff couldn't do enough for you, hearty and tasty breakfast, only a 5 mins walk to town, if you book here you must go to The bowling green pub, not only a good selection of beers and wine but also a great beer garden out the back. The hotel is a little gem
That we didn't book for longer.
Clean Nice breakfast Helpful staff Central location
Room was small Hair dryer was pinned into dressing table making it difficult to use. Lacked any character so only choose if you prefer modern hotel.
The location close to the town centre means that shops, restaurants and Warwick attractions are within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, comfortable and well kept with a large en suite bathroom. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good Wi-Fi was a real plus.
The room was right on to the road Excellent triple glazing meant that noise was never a problem but opening a window was not really an option. Bath/shower could perhaps have done with a grab handle and car parking space is a bit limited but nothing much the hotel can do about that.
The weak Wifi signal.
Poor evening meal food
Great location, very clean, staff friendly, good breakfast, reasonably priced. Would use again and recommend a visit to all.
Our sole purpose of our visit to Warwick was to spend the day at the castle - it was less than 5 mins walk away. The hotel is modern and very clean - the bed was as big as a Las Vegas hotel bed and very comfy! The full English breakfast was delicious - even the sausage, which I can be very fussy about!
No proper bar as such - just bottled drinks - but to be honest, it wasn't really an inconvenience.
Secondary glazing makes a dramatic difference - road noise not really apparent at all Rooms feel more 'upmarket' than you'd expect from seeing the hotel from the outside
Wifi seemed a bit hit-and-miss. Might just have been in my room?
The hotel looks as though it has just undergone a refurb, looks great, with clean lines and modern fixtures. Was a little concerned when we were given room 1, next door to the reception desk & right by the front door. We thought it would be noisy from other guests, however, this wasn't actually an issue, and was pleasantly surprised, although we did hear the reception shutter go up 1st thing but we were already awake at this time so it wasn't an issue.
I don't think there were enough staff. In the evening before going out it seemed that the same person was at the reception desk and serving at the bar, I didn't bother to ask for a drink as my partner had already waited quite a while for his before id arrived. And at breakfast, although it was lovely and well worth the wait, we did have to wait quite a while for our breakfast to arrive after ordering, but again, it was a lovely breakfast! :) ......This has not stopped me from recommending this hotel & returning myself in the future.
The hotel has been recently refurbished so the condition of everything was excellent - tastefully decorated and nicely appointed. The location is very close to the castle and right at the edge of the delightful historic streets of Warwick and some fine restaurants. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
The manageress is lovely and friendly and very willing to help.
We felt that the standard of the facilities were not of a high enough standard to warrant the room rate. We think that £75 per night would be more appropriate.p
